JOB SUMMARY: -

Handling of supplier quality assurance dept activities which includes, assessment of new suppliers, conducting of supplier audits, monitoring of supplier performance and handling of non-conformances related to suppliers/ subcontractors and supplier, ensuring of corrective action reports against quality issues

REPORTING: -

Reports to Sr. Executive Supplier Quality

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: -

Administration/Internal Communications:

• Responsible for maintaining overall quality of suppliers and ensuring quality of supplied products.

Other duties and responsibilities

• Preparation of supplier/Subcontractor audit plan, conducting onsite audit at subcontractor/Supplier sites and their report preparation and updating in the document management system.
• Responsible for monitoring of Supplier/Subcontractor performance through supplier quality rating and communicating to supplier on areas requiring improvement.
•  Responsible for generating Supplier/Subcontractor quality performance reports and ensure timely communication to the suppliers.
• Responsible for review of nonconformance's generated from supplier and subcontractors, verify the adequacy of corrective actions taken and ensure their timely closure.
• Responsible for review of SCARS generated from supplier and subcontractors, ensure the adequacy of actions taken and support for their timely closure.
• Responsible for analyzing, trending, and interpreting data related to rejections, non-conformances reporting, trending, and presenting results.
• Responsible for review of the abnormal rejections at supplier and subcontractor end and initiate corrective actions to reduce rejections.
• Analyzing the complaints reported from market, which are related to suppliers.
• Responsible for conducting/facilitating internal and external audits.( Related to subcontractors)
• Support for planning  and organizing required training.
• Support for evaluating, assessing capability of new suppliers and support for system development as a part of new supplier development.
• Support for supplier qualifications in projects related to new material development and design changes
