Deputy General Manager / Sr. Manager – PAD

JOB SUMMARY: -

 

Plan and review the organization structure along with business teams, set up mechanisms to find issues affecting cross functional working, and resolve them for better execution

 

REPORTING: -

  • Direct: General Manager – PAD

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: -

 

Administration/Internal Communications:

 

  • Formulation, Implementation and Review of Strategic Business Plan (Human Resource) as integrated with Business Strategy.
  • Responsible for evolving IR strategies for the company.
  • Responsible for formulation of policies, systems and strategies in relation to PAD
  • Responsible for make personnel & administration Annual Budgets and Monitor expenses/cost
  • Responsible for manpower planning in coordination with Departmental heads and reviewing with top management.
  • Responsible for employee grievance management on day-to-day basis
  • Responsible for preparation of monthly MIS and presenting before top management
  • Liaisoning with labour department and other government authorities
  • Ensure harmonious workmen-management relations.
  • To adhere to the Health Safety Environment policy and ensure the same.
  • Responsible for Contract labour management

 

Other duties and responsibilities

  • Timely settlement of Long-Term Settlements with Unions.
  • Conducting various innovative Employee Engagement Activities
  • Ensure Statutory compliances under labour laws including relevant Shops & Establishments Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, Employment Exchange Act, Maternity Benefits Act, PF Act, ESI Act, etc.
  • Wage and salary administration of non-executives
  • Ensure proper documentation and updating personal files of the employees.
  • Control and coordinating Laundry functions, Skill Development Centre, Dispensary and security departments.
  • Management of dispensary (first aid, medical treatment and other assistance for workers)
  • Initiate innovative employee engagement / CSR / Motivational activities.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: -

 

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline and MBA/MSW – HR & IR / PGDM-HR /Industrial Relations (02 years – regular)

 

Experience

 

  • Minimum 14 - 16 years post qualification experience in preferably in manufacturing.
  • The person must have experience to deal with Govt. department

 

  • Leading the union discussions and LTS roll out

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
