Job Description
JOB TITLE: Sr. Technical Service Engineer
JOB SUMMARY
As Sr. Technical Service Engineer, the incumbent will be responsible for handling the Medical Equipment Service activities in the designated geographical area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- To maintain Customer Service Levels as per Company Policy
- All equipment Installation and complaint resolution -Urgent complaint with 48 hours
- Preventive Maintenance-All Equipment (Effectiveness – Machine Up time at 95%)
- Gathering knowledge of the market for Service and revenue Generation (Achievement of Target)
- Implementing Timely Field Actions and any necessary upgrades and recording them.
- Daily activity management for the distributor resources for tech service
- Coordination with Sales and clinical counterparts for better management of day today activity and setting the priority.
- Consolidation and continuous monthly update on complaint /Installation/Field action/Service contracts.
- MIS (On-time submission of reports & Documentation)
- Responsible for implementing yearly service strategy with in the defined territory and key accounts management.
- Backing up of the team irrespective of the region as and when required across India
- Strategy with distributor about increasing the service revenue with in the defined terriotery
- Certified Trainer for minimum one devices or more-Responsible for train the internal team and distributor resources
- This position may have one or more service eng reporting in the region and responsibility of his/her development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Degree or Diploma in Electronics/Biomedical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Electronic/Electrical/Medical Equipment Service, preferably in Medical Device or
- Minimum 3 years experience in the company with proven track record.

Job Description

- A valid Driver’s License is required.
- Ability to complete hospital credentialing processes
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 60 pounds.
