JOB TITLE:  Supply Chain Manager, ANZ

 

JOB SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Manager, ANZ provides the strategic development, direction and overall management of these organizations and their outcomes

  • Supply Chain including demand and supply planning, inventory management, external and internal procurement processes. Finished goods warehousing, transportation and customs clearance processes and partnerships, as well as trade compliance
  • Customer Service including Order-to-Cash (OTC) sales order entry and fulfillment processes, invoicing, returns, and customer complaint handling

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Manages and provides leadership for the functional group’s development, direction, and effectiveness, adhering to organizational policies and processes and supporting overall business and corporate objectives
  • Manages inventory planning and purchasing
  • Manages customs clearance to ensure all international inbound shipments smoothly.
  • Ensures sufficient product flow to customers, in alignment with corporate Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes and strategies that meet On-Time Shipment objectives
  • Manages Order-to-cash (OTC) process ensuring customer satisfaction and internal requirements
  • Manage customer requirements and expectations, taking a balance view between customer centric and operations efficiency and company interests
  • Manages customer complaints related to deliveries and logistics ensuring response and resolution within customer time frame expected
  • Manages 3rd party supplier relationships for inventoried goods, negotiations and contracts, and purchasing agreements for any external suppliers in the region
  • Develops and maintains successful relationship and contract management of the 3rd party warehouse and logistics suppliers, as well as domestic distribution.
  • Teams with Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Quality and Operations to effectively and compliantly service customers
  • Ensures trade, quality, country regulatory, and financial compliance in a regulated environment
  • Maintains and creates SAP system data in the customer master, material master and vendor master data records

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered
  • Masters Degree desired

 

Experience

  • Minimum 5-8 years experience
  • Experience in Medical device/ pharmaceutical industry preferred with the most recent years in progressive management positions
  • SAP system expertise strongly preferred

 

Skills

  • Proven leadership and managerial abilities demonstrated by developing, coaching, and training others in an organizational setting
  • Proven leadership in supply chain management
  • Demonstrated management experience with warehouse operations, logistics network modeling, transportation modes and requirements, international shipping requirements, import, export compliance and management
  • Demonstrated experience with 3PL and 4PL/LLP suppliers
  • Subject matter expertise in SAP system (Order-to-Cash, Plan-to-Procure, Record-to-Report)
  • Subject matter expertise in inventory control methods, inventory expiration requirements,  and achieving metrics
  • Understanding of accounting and finance in order to analyze costs and benefits of strategies, projects, or initiatives
  • Knowledge of transfer pricing methodologies
  • Planning skills to establish project schedules, manage projects, set priorities, set objectives, and negotiate deadlines
  • Successful experience working proactively in a Global environment developing strong linkages at all levels
  • Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
