JOB SUMMARY
This Sr. Program Manager role is responsible for expanding TBCT China pipeline portfolio in a manner that aligns with Chinese unmet health care needs; The role needs to drive the teamwork of cross function teams to achieve on time delivery with quality to meet the strategic goals. In additional, the role works with a cross-functional team to identify the localization strategy and execution plan with both the Global and local teams.
- Provides overall management support for identified projects ensuring effective execution meeting the business/functional area goals and priorities.
- Evaluates and manages the inter-relationship between projects and goals of the business/functional area.
- Directs a program of projects in a business/functional area ensuring integration, project planning and execution, process compliance, and prioritization of programs in alignment with the business strategy.
- Creating and maintaining product road map and strategy for new business growth ?
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
- Helps define objectives, budgets, business cases, detailed work breakdown structures, and schedules for a large or complex set of related projects or programs.
- Leads workstream teams to ensure the successful execution of identified workstream in the program, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Understands the meaning and intention from Global and local perspectives; Can be the communication bridge between the two to facilitate mutual understanding, alignment and moving forward.
- Report to headquarters to ensure alignment of strategy, plans, and budgets.
- Leverages market research to drive business performance and drive program decisions.
- Participates in project and program prioritization ensuring consistency with strategies and business priorities.
- Tracks organization-wide metrics on the state of project and program delivery and the value/ROI within individual projects as well as across projects within a program.
- Understands, creates and executes project and program support plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Make data driven decisions, review market research and trends to anticipate and react to competition and customer reactions and initiate / recommend new product proposals as needed.
- Work closely with R&D, QA, Regulatory and other functional groups to ensure the right product is manufactured, on schedule.
- Understands and participates in tradeoff discussions in the product development process to optimize for right balance of time to market, product features and technical risk.
- Resolves and/or escalates project and program related issues in a timely fashion.
- Communicates important milestones, status updates, achievements and decisions with all departments and internal stakeholders as it relates to the program at the project and leadership level.
- Facilitates the definition of quality and risk and manages the project accordingly to make sure the progress on track and can meet the commitments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
MBA degree desirable or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
Experience
Minimum 8 years experience:
- Experience in project management; or equivalent combination of operations management. Familiar with localization, engineering or manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience in medical device with Product Lifecyle management and Portfolio Management experience preferred.
- Proficient in project management methods; Solid experience in leading projects and programs.

- Ability to manage and successfully execute high impact/strategic projects or programs, including complete responsibility for deliverables and performance of project teams.
- Strong ownership and accountability in defining objectives, budgets, business cases, detailed work breakdown structures, and schedules for large or complex set of related projects or programs.
- Accountable for delivery of critical milestones projects and programs.
- Ability to challenge project teams & Project Managers to increase efficiency, reduce waste & honor commitments.
- Owns risk & opportunity management on assigned projects.
- Coordinates resources with adjacent project Managers and resource Managers
- Demonstrates successful management of multiple work streams or projects of varying size or complexity simultaneously. Consistent track record of success driving complex programs from inception to delivery
- Outstanding oral and written English & Chinese comprehension and communication
- Excellent presentation skills to different levels, including senior leadership team, project stakeholders and project teams.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
PMP, PgMP or equivalent certification preferred.
