JOB SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will be responsible for administrative and document management tasks, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of legal documents and compliance records. Also collaborates in drafting and analyzing information and/or documentation for contracts, corporate issues, compliance actions, and others. This role requires excellent organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Works under direct supervision from the Latin America Legal Affairs Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assist in the preparation, review, and filing of legal and compliance documents, and contracts.
- Maintain and organize legal records, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage contract tracking, renewals, and archiving processes.
- Collaborate in the monitoring and follow-up of contracts to ensure compliance.
- Support the due diligence process by gathering and organizing necessary documentation for third-party assessments.
- Assist in the drafting of legal and compliance notes, and other related documents.
- Assists with the corporate secretary and coordinates with external lawyers: file organization, document handling, updates, and corporate documentation of all the legal entities in the region.
- Conduct basic legal research and provide summaries as required.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding legal and compliance matters.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Handle administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, maintaining files, and managing correspondence, payment orders, and control of bills.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive legal information.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Advanced studies in Law or Recently Graduated from Law University with less than 2 years of experience.

Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of Portuguese is a plus).
- Strong organizational and document management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, crosscultural awareness, analytical and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
