Associate Marketing manager LATAM

Working under Latin America Marketing Management direction, provides management, support and execution with autonomy of marketing strategies projects, tactics and sales tools at local and regional scale for current and future company products in Latin America.

 

essential duties and responsibilities

  • Working with a Medium degree of independence and under regional Marketing supervision, translates customer needs and problems into product introduction and marketing strategies-tactics. 
  • Collects and analyzes competitor information, coordinates and refines marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Provides leadership during product trial and introduction in needed countries.
  • Supports regional product introduction, materials, brochures, and other tools.
  • Supports Sales Reps/Product specialist implementing mkt initiatives for new technologies
  • Provides high level of expertise on products by communicating guidelines and general information to internal and external audiences.
  • Monitors and analyzes indicators of business performance such as Sales vs. Forecast, actual vs. plan selling price, product mix, competitor information, and other relevant marketing data factors.
  • Works closely with the sales organization to successfully support business opportunities, tools, and marketing initiatives in a timely and high quality manner. 
  • Provides direction on the design and implementation of promotion, sales force collateral, and customer communication materials to ensure consistency with customer’s needs and according to global and regional marketing strategies and directions.
  • Supports and executes marketing campaigns in an efficient and effective manner and ensures that tasks are completed on time.
  • Produces reports required for each campaign execution i.e. budget approval, pre-event reporting, post-event reporting and ensures campaigns are executed within budget and analyzes results.
  • Provides marketing support for local and regional special events and projects assigned by regional management.
  • Ensures regular communications with sales on marketing campaigns being planned/executed
  • Maintains regular communication and relationship with key industry media and associations and KOL in LATAM.
  • Focused on regional projects and simultaneously on local marketing objectives
  • Support local and regional team on Congresses, exhibitions, branding and merchandising
  • Link between regional and Global Brand and Creative Services  team to plan support and project development
  • Support regional team coordinating specific training for countries in the region

minimum qualification requirements

Education:

  • Knowledge necessary to perform in this position is generally acquired through a relevant Bachelors degree. Postgraduate and related seminars highly appreciated as a plus.

 

Experience:  

  • Requires 3 or more years of experience, preferably in the area of marketing. 
  • Experience in Biotech, medical, laboratory products, health care industry appreciated.

 

Skills:

  • Relevant knowledge of sales/marketing activities planning and program delivery.
  • Ability to assess customer needs and market trends within the context of product and business capabilities and the ability to translate this assessment into workable strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work effectively and comfortably with physicians and other medical professionals, as well as with all functions and levels within the business organization.
  • Didactic skills: ability to educate sales people as well as customers (clinicians, blood bankers).
  • Able to present scientific data both at an individual level as well as presenting to an audience.
  • Ability to interact with diverse cultures.

  • Requires a thorough understanding of marketplace dynamics as they relate to product, price, and distribution.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools, CRMs and digital marketing.
