JOB TITLE: PRODUCT SPECIALIST

 

JOB SUMMARY

Working in partnership with the UK regional sales team, this person is responsible to support blood center segment and therapeutic sales in designated area, through:

  • Leading implementation of Terumo BCT's technology platforms throughout designated region
  • Ensuring a smooth, fast and efficient transfer of technology from pre- sales to routine use at customer sites
  • Assisting the sales team in identifying and qualifying Sales Opportunities and assist in designing the solution
  • Providing customer training and support

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsibilities of the role includes but are not limited to

 

  • Contribute to initiatives that better the customer experience
    • Responsible for conducting customer training throughout the designated area
    • Provide on-call and on-site operational troubleshooting  related to assigned technologies
    • Maintain high level of product knowledge in the technology to successfully demonstrate systems to external customers
    • Provide critical insights to sales and marketing teams as a means to improve our developing platform, solutions, and services.
  • Drive expansion and adoption of our technologies and services.
    • Support customer onboarding process and routine use throughout the designated area
    • Execute effective transfer of knowledge to external customers during trainings at the customer site and at centrally organized trainings, presentations at workshops/Succession meetings
    • Maintain high customer satisfaction and introduce new, valuable features as they become relevant on the customer journey.
    • Assist the sales team in driving and managing renewals
    • Build strong working relationship with internal/external customers in order to achieve the goals related to the essential duties and responsibilities

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor in Life Sciences, Nursing, or Engineering or equivalent by experience

Experience :

  •  Knowledge of the medical device sector
  •  Experience understanding business products & therapy applications

Skills

  • Strong communication skills; especially in delivering trainings on highly technical areas
  • Demonstrated skills in project management and priotization
  • Excellent creative and critical thinking skills
  • Works effectively in diverse, multi-cultural workplace

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Obtain Sign- off on products prior to delivering training

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • This position will be based in the country requiring the activities.
  • This position will report to the local country manager or local sales supervisor
  • Frequent travelling (up to 70%)
