We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner with expertise in managing production planning and inventory management for manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing production schedules and ensuring the availability of goods, all while meeting service level goals and minimizing operational costs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Sets priorities independently and accomplishes objectives in the support of manufacturing operations through activities such as planning equipment and disposable builds to maintain adequate inventories, monitoring of work in progress, management of finished goods inventories, and provision of ongoing and varied assistance to manufacturing and field service.
  • Develops solutions to non-routine problems of moderate to intermediate complexity within functional area of expertise that have a positive impact across functional lines.
  • Responsible for recommending, specifying, implementing, creating, maintaining, interpreting, improving, summarizing, and reporting on the performance indicators for manufacturing operations.
  • Responsible for appropriate departmental documentation and maintains information in appropriate systems.
  • Work involves the application of intermediate to advanced technical skills in one or more of the above areas of specialization and requires an ability to coordinate activities across functional lines to ensure maintenance of optimal manufacturing flow.
  • Responsible for problem solving and resolution involving manufacturing process control, forecasting, scheduling conflicts/disruptions, raw material quality/shortages, finished goods stocking levels/obsolescence management, and similar systemic and special cause problems. 
  • Actively participates in cost reduction programs and continuous improvements efforts.
  • Compiles detailed information including routine analysis, to assist in forecasting, and the assessment/control of manufacturing processes.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
  • MBA is desirable.

 

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience.
  • SAP experience.
  • Strong Manufacturing background desirable.

 

Skills

  • Working knowledge of manufacturing, quality, planning, documentation systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business/technical problems and select, design, and implement solutions in accordance with business needs.
  • Ability to interact with diplomacy and tact while maintaining appropriate assertiveness and persistence.
  • Demonstrates effective leadership skills.
  • Requires the ability to implement new technology to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Understands the financial performance reports and their implications.
  • Requires the ability to lead major projects.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of information handling systems.
  • Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • An MBA and/or APICS certification is highly desirable.

 

LOCATION

Littleton, Colorado - Open to candidates willing to relocate to the area.

Target Pay Range:  $78,200.00 to $97,700.00  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  7.0%
