JOB TITLE:  Manufacturing Superintendent

 

 

JOB SUMMARY

Works closely with the Focus Factory Manager and Supervisors to achieve an end result that supports the team’s goals.   Is an active participant and gives input to function improvement projects.  Ensures the development of plans and implementation strategies that align with the Focus Factory assigned. 

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Manages and provides leadership for the functional groups’ development, direction, and effectiveness, adhering to organizational policies and processes and supporting overall business and corporate objectives.
  • Participates and promotes subordinate participation on cross-functional and/or inter organizational teams.  Frequently leads such teams or task groups especially when the scope is broad and/or the issue complex.
  • Identify, develop, and report critical metric’s for area, with cascading metrics for associates.
  • Implement and support continuous improvement.
  • Ensures operations schedules are met within budget through appropriate use of human and technology resources, scheduling and effective problem solving.
  • Is the point of contact for engineering and other support functions.
  • Participates and promotes associate participation on cross functional teams.
  • Responsible for cross functional continuity of policies, headcount, training, reviews and JOS processes.
  • Daily reporting and trending of assigned metrics.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

 

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years experience.  
  • Experience is gained by becoming an expert in one or more of the following areas: Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Laboratory Operations, Sterilization Processes, or Materials Planning.

 

Skills

  • Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Requires working knowledge of the business's products and therapy use.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership, and strategic planning skills.
  • Exceptional demonstrated expertise in planning, personnel development, and project management directed toward achievement of annual, long term, and strategic business plans and goals.
  • Subject matter expert with an exceptional understanding of technology and methods applicable to the area and the ability to determine appropriate application.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

Target Pay Range:  $76,600.00 to $95,800.00  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  10.0%
