JOB TITLE: HR Business Partner
JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision, provides Human Resource support to the corporation/business in areas of talent acquisition, associate relations, compensation, benefits, Affirmative Action, associate development, and performance management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Supports assigned customer groups from a Human Resources perspective to assist with workforce planning, compensation analyst to ensure appropriate classifications and pay, and selecting and integrating new associates into the business areas.
- Recommends courses of action to management and associates in areas such as benefits, career development, performance deficiencies, and work-related issues which may have legal liabilities.
- Works to proactively recognize issues and develop appropriate measures and tools to improve situations. Mitigates legal liabilities through proper documentation and sound decision-making.
- Works with business areas through formal and informal means in areas such as policy interpretation, interpersonal skills, federal and state requirements/legislation, compensation, and benefits.
- Reports on and analyzes various Human Resources trends and statistics.
- May lead projects, or segments of projects, assuring their integration with Human Resources, the business, and the Corporation as appropriate.
- May represent Company at Unemployment, Worker's Compensation, and EEOC hearings.
- Investigates various Title VII charges, compiles documentation, and writes responses.
- Counsels and works with management to solve work related issues, addresses problems that impact morale and productivity and Associate Relations situations such as sexual harassment and policy violations
- Assists with the development of Company policies. Ensures compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
Experience
Minimum 8 years experience
Skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the primary areas of Human Resources such as associate relations, federal and state regulations, training, compensation, and benefits.
- Requires sound judgment skills and the potential to develop counseling and coaching skills.
- Requires a basic knowledge and understanding of how to apply and interpret personnel policies and guidelines.
- Demonstrated project management skills and priority setting.
- Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

Target Pay Range: $95,700.00 to $119,700.00 - Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base: 7.0%
