JOB TITLE: OPERATIONS & SHIPPING TECHNICIAN  

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

Working part-time for the operations department and part-time for shipping, with the aim of providing qualitative support to both teams:

Support the operations department by inspecting, maintaining, and producing equipment according to established standards and under minimal supervision, on which training has been provided while acquiring increased knowledge of the equipment. 

Support the shipping department by the processing of packing lists, shipment of goods, checking goods, goods storage, reporting, and stock management. Perform the control of produced, repaired, and purchased medical electronic equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Shipping

  • Control of spare parts and equipment inventory
  • Shipment and reception of equipment and spare parts
  • Reporting in ERP of spare parts and equipment
  • Preparing service reports in English
  • Communication with branches and customer care concerning deliveries
  • Quality Control of manufactured and repaired equipment
  • Carry out quality tests for customers

 

Production

Provides quality production by:

  • performing production tasks, according to the companies’ quality levels, following dedicated procedures, and using the specific checklists as appropriate and in a timely manner.
  • Registering and transferring run data files of all handled procedures on each machine.
  • Completing administration, documentation, and action report per organization policy and procedures.
  • Working and collaborating effectively with internal colleagues, customer relations specialists, and customers.
  • Communicating technical findings to appropriate in-house personnel (e.g. Product Specialist, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Field Implementation,…)

May need to perform duties outside of the job description in shipping or production.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

A2 Electro-mechanics or electronics or at least similar through experience (technical background)

 

Experience

Experience in a technical environment is a plus (e.g., troubleshooting, diagnosing problems).

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Obtain Sign- off on products prior to performing maintenance

  • Travel may be required on an exceptional basis
