PROJECT MANAGER

We are seeking a highly motivated, seasoned Project Manager to join our team and lead complex, cross-functional projects within our pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Project focus areas may include technology transfer of parenteral solutions, as well as initiatives supporting product launches and capacity expansion. This role offers high visibility across the organization and the opportunity to collaborate closely with key stakeholders in technical, quality, and operations functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong project leadership experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or medical devices, with a proven ability to deliver results through structured planning, proactive problem-solving, and effective stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support all aspects of project planning, execution, and control — including scope, budget, timeline, resource planning, risk, and change management.
- Collaborate with Technical Leads/Functional Managers to define scope and ensure alignment on requirements and deliverables.
- Coach and collaborate with Technical Leads in applying project management tools and best practices to support detailed planning, proactive risk management, and high-quality execution.
- Integrate technical project plans into the overall program schedule; manage interdependencies with other functions or workstreams.
- Monitor project performance against scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
- Ensure project scope changes are managed through the formal change control process.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of Statement of Work milestones and support reimbursement tracking accordingly.
- Track project budgets against forecasts and expected margins; provide clear visibility of financial performance to internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the PMO to ensure alignment with governance frameworks, reporting standards, and lifecycle documentation.
- Support the use and refinement of PMO-provided tools, templates, and processes to drive consistency and compliance
- Promote continuous improvement by capturing and sharing lessons learned.
Qualifications & Experience
- A degree in a scientific, technical, or business discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated expertise in project management, ideally within regulated or GMP-compliant environments, with a strong track record of leading complex projects from initiation to completion
- Highly skilled in detailed project scheduling, including critical path analysis, dependency management, and the effective use of tools such as MS Project, risk logs, dashboards, and issue trackers.
- Proficiency in managing project budgets, tracking forecasts vs. actuals, and reporting financial variances to senior stakeholder.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confident working with vendors, stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Familiarity with integrated resource planning across functions or sites to enable effective portfolio delivery.
- Experience supporting or leading the implementation of PMO governance processes, tools, and reporting standards.
- Adept at influencing, coaching, and leading others to drive accountability and results.
- Experience working within a global matrix organization is an advantage.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP or PRINCE2) strongly preferred.
