Hygiene Technician Evening Shift

Terumo BCT Ltd, based in Larne, manufactures a range of sterile fluids for both human and veterinary use. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Hygiene Technician to join our team.   

Duties will include:

• Clean specific areas of the site to the required high standards
• Perform duties following written instructions in the form of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and verbal instructions from the Production Manager or Senior Cleaning Operator or other relevant manager
• Adhere to the principles of GMP when carrying out all tasks
• Complying with Health & Safety and Hygiene Procedures in all work areas
• Report all accidents or any unsafe conditions in the workplace to Management and also maintain in a good state of repair all protective clothing and equipment
• Comply with and enforce all relevant Health and Safety regulations
• Assist in the training of staff where appropriate
• Comply with and enforce all company policies
• Any other duties as may be reasonably required by your Manager from time to time

Applicants must:

• Possess Good numeracy and literacy skills, i.e. minimum secondary-level education
• Have previous cleaning experience preferably gained within an industrial environment (e.g. using buffers etc)
• Be able to attend work on a regular basis – i.e. good attendance/timekeeping record
• Be able to work with minimum supervision
• Be able to work on own initiative
• Be able to work shifts/overtime
