We are seeking a proactive and solutions-focused Facilities & Utilities Engineer to support performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing site. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse engineering activities including projects, equipment installations, and site developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and performance of utilities including HVAC, compressed air, steam, water, and electrical systems
• Lead engineering projects from concept through commissioning and handover
• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and health & safety standards
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Develop maintenance strategies for buildings and infrastructure
• Support new building and refurbishment projects
• Coordinate contractors and technical teams

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant Engineering qualification, or equivalent hands-on experience in an engineering discipline
• Experience in facilities, utilities, or project engineering
• Knowledge of CDM regulations and project lifecycle
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, or CMMS systems

Desirable Skills

• NEBOSH or IOSH certification
• Experience in cleanroom or HVAC environments
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments
• Understanding of GMP and validation
• Interest in sustainability and energy efficiency
• Experience of Building Control and Planning applications
• Experience in management of PSSR

• This is an on-site role, based at our Larne facility.
