The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, governance, and continuous improvement of the global demand planning process and S&OP hierarchy. This role ensures alignment across regions and functions, drives adoption of best practices, and supports the integration of advanced planning tools and analytics to enhance forecast accuracy and supply chain efficiency but also supports digital transformation initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy, supply-demand balance, and executive decision-making.

General Duties

• Process Ownership and Governance
  • Define, document, and maintain the global demand planning process framework and S&OP hierarchy
  • Ensure standardization and compliance across all regions
• Center of Excellence
  • Training of global users in standard process: 15-20 users
  • Promote best practices in forecasting, analytics, and system utilization
  • Use of different forecasting methodologies based on business / region segmentation
    • Statistical forecasting
    • Capital purchases: probability models
    • Disciplined orderbook for distributor markets
• Technology & Systems Integration
  • Leveraging industry standard technology to enable the process
  • Partnering with global BI team to define process metrics and dashboards
  • Is subject matter expert/process owner for demand planning as part of S4 Hana enterprise transformation
• Performance Management
  • Define and Monitor Metric / goal setting by region / country / product family
  • Driving continuous improvement plan to improve overall accuracy
  • Support Scenario planning and strategic forecasting effort to drive planning decision
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance and Operations teams
  • Partners with global commercial finance and business operations excellence to define global roadmap to clearly differentiate demand and financial planning- process, roles and responsibilities etc.
  • Partners with wider team on LRP process – both in terms of alignment of numbers but also in standard process connecting the financial plan with the code country forecast over the next 5 years.
  • Partners with wider Supply Chain leaders and commercial partners to define and execute TBCT S&OP Hierarchy and maturity model

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferable in business with a concentration in Supply Chain Management / Planning, or similar discipline or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
• Master’s degree desired.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years’ global/region experience within Demand and supply Planning management roles and leading S&OP discussions at a region/global management level
• Leading / implementing change in an operations & commercial environment
• Selecting and implementing best in class planning systems: IBP, Kinaxis, Gains or other APS solutions
• Transitioning successfully planning processes from SAP ECC to S4/Hana would be advantageous.
