Training Specialist and LMS Administrator



This position will provide training for internal and external customers for our Plasma Innovation team. The primary focus will be educating them on how to use our plasma collection medical device effectively, assisting them in realizing the clinical value of the device and driving adoption and utilization. Responsibilities also include coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the training classes to meet the company's needs, including administration of training content and assignments in the LMS.



  • Acts as a facilitator/instructor to deliver training programs. Position is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the training based on assessment and learner performance of internal associates regionally and globally, as well as external audiences, (customers, vendors and third parties).
  • Implements training effectiveness measures and assessment tools.
  • Assists with the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) and performs data entry in the LMS.
  • Partners with other functional areas to evaluate the effectiveness of training and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintains an awareness of training and development trends.
  • Position is responsible for collaborating with an instructional designer to implement effective technical training programs.
  • Ensures adequate amounts and delivery of instructional materials to training venues.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to deliver instruction to the customers and industries/sectors you serve.






Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.



  • Minimum 5 years’ experience, with evidence of 3 years classroom instruction.
  • Medical device training, science background or experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Use of a Learning Management System.



  • Knowledge of adult learning and effective instruction methods to meet the needs of diverse learner audiences.
  • Knowledge of presentation and training methods as well as demonstrated effective presentation and training skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct all aspects of classroom instruction.
  • Requires planning and organizational skills to establish an effective course of action.
  • Requires leadership skills to gain acceptance for ideas from peers through influence.
  • Knowledge and use of relevant software applications and skills to use them effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.



An equivalent competency level acquired through a variation of these qualifications may be considered.


Typical Office Environment requirements include reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, moderate periods of standing and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

Target Pay Range:  $72,400.00 to $90,500.00  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  7.0%
