Senior Contracts Specialist 


The Senior Contracts Specialist will be an integral member of the Legal and Compliance Department managing a growing volume of contracts and transactions and related diligence, record keeping and administration. The ideal candidate is humble, reliable, trustworthy, organized, professional, responsible, self-motivated, driven, with a strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and great communication skills.

  • Primary responsibility for a growing volume of historic and new contracts, including administration and management throughout the entire contract lifecycle.
  • Support the implementation and management of a Contract Management Software system.
  • Draft, review, edit, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial contracts (e.g., service agreements, supply agreements, confidentiality, distribution, sales, consulting, marketing, software license, SaaS, and professional services agreements) with minimal oversight and applying company standards.
  • Maintain a set of standard contracts/templates for the company.
  • Interpret contract language and answer inquiries from company associates.
  • Act as a liaison between internal business partners and in-house counsel.
  • Participate in and assist with the resolution of contract disputes and claims.
  • Ensure that contracts are approved and executed in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Support in-house counsel in managing litigation, including coordinating discovery efforts and interfacing with outside counsel. 


     W             What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal degree or certification, and/or law degree preferred. Demonstrated experience may be substituted for educational requirement.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of contract management experience, including independently drafting, reviewing, revising and negotiating a wide variety of standard and non-standard contracts, creation and management of legal agreement templates and playbooks, managing contracting process, and interpreting contractual terms with the ability to apply knowledge when reviewing incoming contracts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate and collaborate proactively with all levels of the organization, vendors and/ or outside counsel.
  • Ability to understand business needs and exercise sound judgment on key decisions, including the ability to make independent decisions and recognize circumstances that require escalation.
  • Comfortable managing and prioritizing competing priorities and frequent interruptions while maintaining close attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness.
  • A proactive, collaborative and flexible approach to contribute to the efficiency of the department.
  • High energy level and positive demeanor when communicating with busy internal clients, teammates, and partners outside the organization.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Teams, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Outlook.  Experience with contract management software preferred. Experience with DocuSign or similar e-signature applications are a plus.
  • Litigation experience and/or desire to learn, are a plus.
  • Experience with entity management and other corporate governance a plus.




Target Pay Range:  $77,100.00 to $96,400.00  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  7.0%
