JOB TITLE: Sr Manager, Global HRBP

 

 

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Global HRBP is responsible for leading and managing the HR strategy and actions across multiple international locations. Working without significant direction, partners with global business area leaders to maximize organizational objectives by leveraging human resource related activities, organizational development & planning. Cultivates partnership with senior leaders at a global functional level to create functional people strategies, plan and implement associate programs, processes, policies, and procedures to meet and support changing and ongoing business needs.  Key member of the functional leadership teams, and responsible for building strategic leadership capabilities.

 

BUSINESS ALIGNMENT

Serves as the primary point of contact, owns, and drives results for the following global functions:

 

  • Quality
  • Supply Chain
  • Process Engineering
  • Operations Strategy and Programs

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Build and cultivate strong partnerships with senior leaders to provide strategic insights and implement effective organizational and human resource initiatives, creating an environment that promotes high performance and associate engagement.
  • Advise the business with organizational change and development direction, influencing leaders to align organizational design with business strategy.
  • Analyze and present relevant metrics and insights to translate HR analytics into strategic actions that align with our HR priorities and business requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and coach at all levels to navigate the complexities of managing global, matrixed teams, on individual performance, career development, and succession planning.
  • Cultivate a high-performance work environment by offering guidance on conflict resolution, addressing associate relations concerns, and implementing effective performance management systems.
  • Provide candid and comprehensive feedback regarding talent management initiatives, specifically focusing on personnel transitions, professional development programs, promotional opportunities, and strategies for fostering employee growth.
  • Assess talent risk for the functions and determine strategies to address and develop bench strength for succession and development.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to include Talent & Development, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, People Analytics, HRIS teams, Shared Services, etc., in early design and implementation of HR programs.
  • Partner closely with regional HR teams to ensure consistency and alignment with the company's overall objectives while ensuring representation of the specific needs the regions.
  • Drive global diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring that the company fosters an inclusive environment across all locations.
  • Lead projects, or segments of projects, assuring integration within Human Resources, the business, and corporation, as appropriate.
  • Responsible for making and overseeing decisions that impact HR processes, while ensuring proper procedures are followed, maintaining appropriate connections across various business segments.
  • Act as liaison between the company and internal/external legal and professional resources to ensure that all employment policies follow current laws and regulations.
  • Lead HR initiatives that support organizational change and/or HR process improvements, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic direction.

 

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • May serve on various Business/Corporate committees dealing with topics such as benefits, policies, worker's compensation, and reward systems.
  • Champions, advocates, and promotes growth mindset, values, code of conduct, and behaviors of the Global HR function and positively represents TBCT.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

 

Experience

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Human Resources or related function.
  • Minimum of 5 years as an HR Business Partner directly supporting client groups.

 

 

Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead people and projects.
  • Ability to establish collaborative working relationships with all levels within the organization in addition to working with external customers when necessary.
  • Requires in-depth working knowledge and understanding of various areas of Human Resources such as Associate Relations, HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, and associate training and organizational development. 
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate strategy into actionable HR initiatives.
  • Requires strong analytical skills, ability to identify, define, and solve problems rapidly, and to think and plan strategically.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a high degree of empathy and emotional intelligence.
  • Proven track record in providing professional mentorship and coaching service.
  • Requires an in-depth understanding of human motivation and the ability to influence decision making in all functions and levels of the organization.
  • Requires an in-depth understanding, knowledge, and interpretive ability regarding policies and procedures and the ability to apply solutions creatively within or outside of guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of global HR practices and labor law, and regulations across various regions.
  • Requires rapid and thorough independent decision making and creative critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to accept personal and departmental accountability for areas of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across various levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace and evolving global environment where change and ambiguity are common.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect HR initiatives to overall business outcomes.
  • Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

Additional Physical Requirements

Occasional international travel may be required to support global HR initiatives and meet with regional teams, <10%.

 

 

Target Pay Range:  $155,000 to $175,000  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  20.0%
