Bring your technical expertise and attention to detail to a role where you play a key part in keeping complex equipment running at peak performance. As a Spare Parts Technician, you will create and manage critical service documentation, develop clear and user‑friendly procedures, and collaborate cross functionally with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams. This role combines hands on mechanical knowledge with technical writing, giving you the opportunity to work with a wide range of systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and more. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Accomplishes assigned tasks independently with a high level of accuracy.
  • Create and edit service documentation using Microsoft Word.
  • Calls and facilitates meetings to review documentation.
  • Manages the release of service documentation in Windchill.
  • Evaluates workload and establishes priorities on a continual basis.
  • Interacts with Subject Matter Experts to develop content and release materials.
  • Designs and develops service documentation (i.e., Spare part instructions and PM procedures).
  • Writes procedures used to improve ease of use for equipment or spare parts.
  • Supports equipment design changes into spare parts.
  • Follow and use controlled documentation templates to support SOPs, WINs.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

A two-year technical degree or equivalent education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

 

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience.

 

Skills

  • Knowledge of hand tools and electronic equipment used in servicing (i.e., DMM, pressure meter, electrical safety analyzers, and torque screwdrivers/wrenches).
  • Use of mechanical gauges and tools to support assembly and troubleshooting of hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, RF, and ultrasonics.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to assemble and disassemble large and small mechanical and electronic assemblies.
  • Understanding of various fasteners, tools, specifications, and tolerances.
  • Demonstrated ability to use logical methods to identify and solve equipment problems.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting computer hardware problems and performing computer diagnostics is desirable.
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications and skills to use them effectively. 
  • Knowledge of Windchill preferred.
  • Technical writing skills to support a global audience, including strong typing skills.
  • Capable of managing numerous projects at once and cycling between them.
  • Photography and Vidiography preferred.
  • Able to read block diagram schematics and Manufacturing Operating Procedures.
  • Cross functional collaboration with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing.
  • Work from engineering documents to interpret tolerances, specifications, and other essential design inputs.

LOCATION

Lakewood, Colorado - Onsite (hybrid).

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, traversing, bending, and sitting.
  • General Labor Environment requirements include: use of personal protective equipment, reading, speaking, hearing, walking, bending, standing, stretching/reaching, hand/finger dexterity, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, or transporting up to 500 pounds via carts or mechanized equipment.

Target Pay Range:  $26.00 to $33.00 -  Hourly pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  7.0%
