JOB SUMMARY

As a Software Architect, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, designing and leading the development of cutting-edge, enterprise-scale software applications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Lead system architecture design and implementation, collaborating with the Innovation & Design team to deliver cutting-edge solutions and guide development teams through execution
  • Drive technical innovation by investigating new technologies, designing breakthrough systems, and implementing creative solutions for complex challenges
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation while ensuring architectural integrity across projects
  • Spearhead cross-functional collaboration, sharing insights with key stakeholders and serving as the primary technical contact for complex intra- and inter-company initiatives
  • Shape strategic direction by working towards long-range goals, interpreting and recommending policy modifications, and anticipating industry trends to position the organization for future success
  • Influence diverse stakeholders by articulating complex technical concepts, driving alignment, and representing the technical function as a key decision-maker in project discussions
  • Solve large-scale problems by developing innovative solutions, applying creativity to overcome obstacles, and continuously improving processes and methodologies
  • Balance architectural vision with project needs, ensuring consistency while identifying opportunities to evolve the technical architecture to meet emerging requirements and support business objectives

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

 

Experience

Minimum 10 years’ experience. Requires experience with enterprise-scale mission critical applications, preferably with medical products/devices.

 

Skills

  • Possesses a highly technical and complex knowledge of at least one modern software technology and knowledge of several technologies
  • Deep hands-on experience in API design, SOA, REST, RPC, and event-driven micro-service architecture
  • Hands on expertise in variety of software stacks/technologies including C#.NET, AngularJS/TypeScript, Python, MQTT messaging, and various SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with large-scale cloud-based platforms and architectures, Azure ecosystem strongly preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of UML and other modeling methods
  • Experience building large-scale, cloud-based platforms, using Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration and management, strongly preferred
  • Experience developing and maintaining deployments for CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent leadership capabilities; teamwork orientation; strong business acumen and impeccable integrity
  • Decisive, resourceful, and well adapted to working in a cross-functional environment
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills across multiple cultures, levels of seniority, and internal departments
  • Ability to communicate complex technical content effectively, both verbally and with standard visualization models like C4 and UML

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Typical Office Environment requirements including reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

This role is required to be in the Lakewood office at least 3 days per week. Travel up to 5% including international travel.

 

 

 

Target Pay Range:  $128,500.00 to $160,600.00  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  15.0%
