As the Senior Manager – Global MES & Digital Operations you will lead the global implementation and optimization of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and digital transformation initiatives across our Global Operations footprint. This role will drive strategic alignment, operational excellence, and innovation in a regulated medical device environment, leveraging cross-functional collaboration and advanced analytics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Develop, lead and implement a 5-year technology roadmap for the Operations footprint.
- Lead the global rollout of MES platforms across multi-site, multi-region manufacturing operations, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and hands-on program execution.
- Manage large-scale strategic programs with budgets ranging from $10M to $40M, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Build and lead cross-functional teams including IT, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and external vendors to deliver Industry 4.0 capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Operations, IT) to gather business requirements and develop functional specifications for MES, QMS, PLM, and ERP systems.
- Manage and lead a team of ERP and system experts across their operational roles by ensuring system uptime and user support for the manufacturing and supply chain organization globally.
- Develop and implement data harmonization strategies across ERP systems (SAP, BPCS) and manufacturing lines to enable standardized reporting and analytics.
- Drive the development of canonical data architectures and real-time telemetry systems for predictive and descriptive analytics using tools like Power BI, Python, and Azure ML.
- Oversee M&A integration programs, ensuring seamless IT system consolidation and business continuity across global functions.
- Champion AI/ML adoption across Operations, Quality and R&D, fostering enterprise-wide alignment on tools, technologies, and skillsets.
- Promote change management and stakeholder engagement to ensure the successful adoption of new systems and processes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, engineering, or business administration or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in the medical device or life sciences industry, with a strong focus on MES, digital transformation, and strategic program management.
- Proven track record of leading global MES implementations and enterprise IT programs.
- Expertise in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt), PMP-certified project management, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
- Demonstrated experience ensuring compliance with government regulations and industry standards, including FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, and GxP, throughout the implementation of MES and enterprise systems in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical proficiency in data analytics, ERP integration, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Skills:
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems and regulatory environments across regions.
- Ability to work within a matrixed organization and engage effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy abilities. High level of verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts.

LOCATION
Lakewood, Colorado or Remote – Open to candidates willing to relocate to Colorado.
TRAVEL
U.S. and international travel will be required at 25% - 30%.

Target Pay Range: $159,900.00 to $199,900.00 - Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base: 20.0%
