JOB TITLE: Senior Manager, Global Compensation

 

 

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Global Compensation is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing global compensation programs that align with the organization’s strategic objectives and support talent acquisition, retention, and engagement. This role will lead global compensation initiatives, ensure market competitiveness, and maintain compliance with local regulations across multiple regions.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Compensation Strategy & Design
    • Develop and execute global compensation strategies that support business goals and talent needs.
    • Lead the design and administration of base pay, variable pay, and equity programs across all regions.
    • Partner with HR and business leaders to ensure compensation programs are aligned with performance and career development frameworks.
  • Market Analysis & Benchmarking
    • Conduct global market pricing and benchmarking using survey data and analytics.
    • Evaluate compensation competitiveness and recommend adjustments based on market trends and internal equity.
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Ensure compensation practices comply with local labor laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
    • Maintain documentation and audit readiness for compensation-related processes.
  • Program Management
    • Lead annual compensation planning cycles including merit increases, bonus programs, and equity grants.
    • Manage compensation tools and systems in partnership with HRIS and Total Rewards teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Provide consultative support to HR Business Partners and senior leaders on compensation decisions.
    • Communicate compensation philosophy and practices effectively across the organization.
  • Team Leadership
    • May lead or mentor a small team of compensation analysts or specialists.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in compensation, with at least 3 years in a global or regional leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of global compensation practices, market analysis, and regulatory environments.
  • Experience with compensation survey tools (e.g., Mercer, Radford, Willis Towers Watson).
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and advanced Excel skills; experience with Workday or SAP a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, traverse, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

 

Target Pay Range:  $146,700.00 to $183,300.00  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  20.0%
