This position provides technical expertise in an area of technology as defined.  Performs a range of tasks, which may include analysis, evaluation, design, coding and testing, installation, maintenance, support, and training under general direction.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Within the context of the ITS/Business Strategic Plan, operates somewhat independently in supporting information technology through activities such as analyzing business/technical problems, designing, coding, testing, maintaining, supporting, and installing information technology solutions, documenting procedures, and administer­ing training programs for clients.
  • Identifies and implements basic options, develops software code, tests, documents and maintains IT solutions.
  • Identify problems and update or modify working methods in own role according to business needs..
  • Ability to understand customers and their environment
  • Requires flexibility to adapt to and willingness to learn new technologies with self-motivated to continue life-long learning.
  • Collaborates with individuals at all levels in solving problems that are somewhat routine in nature.
  • Interprets and recommends modifications to operating policies within the function.
  • Develops and maintains pertinent documentation and procedures for the technology area according to industry, vendor, Terumo BCT, and ITS standards.

 

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • May work independently or as part of a team in resolving more complex problems for clients.
  • Shares responsibility with team members for 24-hour on-call resolution.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

 

Experience

Minimum 1 year experience

  • Requires working knowledge of a specific Information Technology
  • Requires foundational knowledge of a specific Information Technology Methodology.(include for SAP positions only)
  • Requires knowledge utilizing and developing in a specific Information Technology.

 

Skills

  • Requires strong orientation to customer satisfaction.
  • Requires ability and willingness to work on multiple projects at one time and priority setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, promote, and exhibit team-oriented behavior.
  • Demonstrated understanding of multiple business disciplines.
  • Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

Additional Physical Requirements
