Senior Manager, Global Commercial & Strategy Finance
JOB SUMMARY
This role serves as the primary thought partner and operating leader to the Director, Global Strategy & Commercial Finance, supporting enterprise financial leadership across Global Sales, Business Areas, and Strategy while flexing across Regional Commercial Finance and Global Strategy Finance to address evolving business needs.
The position plays a critical role in driving rigor, consistency, and execution across global forecasting, planning, performance management, and strategic analysis. This role helps lead the global commercial finance operating cadence, translating pipeline, market signals, and performance trends into actionable insights and business decisions.
This role is also pivotal to the development of a Finance Shared Services model, including building and deploying a scalable analyst resource pool to support dynamic business priorities.
The role acts as an integrator, operator, and problem-solver, translating strategic and tactical direction into high-quality, executive-ready deliverables, ensuring follow-through across teams, and enabling senior leadership to focus on enterprise-level tradeoffs, stakeholder alignment, and decision-making. Success requires strong judgment, an enterprise-first mindset, and the ability to influence decisions and drive alignment in a highly matrixed global environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Enterprise Planning & Performance Management
- Co-own and coordinate global financial processes for Growth Strategy and Long‑Range Planning (GS and LRP), Annual Sales & OpEx Planning (AOP), and monthly forecasting/SIOP processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and on‑time delivery.
- Integrate inputs across Sales, Business Areas, Strategy, Operations, and Regional Finance into a single, aligned enterprise financial view.
- Ensure alignment between strategic objectives, commercial execution, and financial outcomes, highlighting gaps and driving corrective actions.
Financial Analysis & Decision Support
- Lead development of executive‑ready analyses, scenarios, and recommendations related to growth initiatives, portfolio trade-offs, investment cases, pricing decisions, and commercial performance.
- Support preparation of materials for C‑suite, Executive Management Committee, and senior leadership reviews, including clear narratives, decision frameworks, dashboards, and insights.
- Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and performance trends and elevate them with clear framing and recommended actions.
- Deploy analyst resources and personally step in to address gaps across Regional Commercial Finance teams as needed.
Team & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the central integrator across Business Area FP&A teams and Regional Commercial Finance partners.
- Drive consistency in methodologies, assumptions, templates, and performance measurement across regions and portfolios.
- Maintain strong working relationships with Sales leadership, Strategy, Operations, and Finance to enable effective cross‑functional alignment and execution.
Execution, Governance & Process Improvement
- Support and help operationalize governance frameworks around pricing, deal analysis, OpEx discipline, capital allocation, and investment prioritization.
- Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and scale global finance processes, tools, and reporting.
- Ensure strong follow‑through and accountability on commitments, action items, and leadership decisions across planning cycles.
Leadership & Development
- Operate as a trusted deputy to the Director, stepping in as needed to represent the function in leadership forums and critical decision discussions.
- Coach and mentor analysts and managers across the enterprise finance network, reinforcing analytical rigor and executive thinking.
- Develop a Finance Shared Services model to build bench strength, increase agility, and enable more flexible resource deployment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. MBA preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Strategy Finance, or related roles in a global organization
- Extensive expertise in enterprise planning, forecasting, and executive‑level performance management
- Proven success collaborating across global regions and cross‑functional teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, traverse, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
Target Pay Range: $145,000.00 to $181,300.00 - Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base: 20.0%
