JOB TITLE:  SAP S/4HANA Testing and OCM Workstreams Project Manager

 

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to oversee both the Testing & Validation and the Organizational Change Management (OCM) workstreams for a multi-year SAP S/4HANA program. The PM is responsible for ensuring the new S/4HANA solution is rigorously tested end-to-end (unit, integration, UAT) and that the organization (and its external partners, like suppliers) is fully prepared to adopt the new system and processes. By driving a comprehensive test strategy (with formal validation protocols and diligent defect resolution) alongside a robust change management plan (training, communications, stakeholder engagement), this PM helps achieve a smooth implementation with high user adoption and minimal disruption to the business.

 

Required Experience:
The ideal candidate has worked on programs where they were responsible for planning all testing cycles including coordination of the test environment readiness and data setup. The ideal candidate also has experience with delivering an organizational change management plan covering training, communications, and stakeholder engagement at a global level.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Work alongside the SI and develop and manage the overall testing strategy for the S/4HANA program.
  • Implement a defect tracking and resolution process to log, prioritize, and fix issues found during testing.
  • Ensure that validation protocols and documentation standards are followed for all testing evidence.
  • Partner with SI and oversee the creation and execution of a comprehensive Organizational Change Management plan covering training, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Partner with SI to create and execute approach for periodic readiness assessments – surveys or workshops to gauge how comfortable users feel about the coming changes, and identify pockets of resistance or low preparedness.
  • Partner with SI to develop plan for extending change management efforts to external stakeholders (e.g. suppliers, customers) impacted by the S/4HANA business transformation.
  • Ensure that the final cutover plan incorporates tasks for both data/system cutover and business/people readiness.
  • After go-live, coordinate a structured hypercare period where defect fixes and user issues are tracked and resolved quickly, and ensure a feedback loop to update any training materials or communications based on real-world usage

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure global alignment and buy-in across the organization
  • Interface with all levels of management to provide strategic and tactical advice on project planning execution, change management and keep leadership well informed.
  • Tracks status and metrics on the project delivery and value; escalates to functional management upon identification of deviations (or potential deviations) from plan and budget.
  • Monitors program progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Resolves and/or escalates program-related issues in a timely fashion.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of project management experience leading medium to large-scale IT projects. This must include planning and executing test cycles in a complex, integrated environment.
  • Experience with testing tools (e.g. HP ALM/QC) and methodologies for defect management is expected.
  • Knowledge for formal validation protocols (e.g. GxP, IQ/OQ/PQ) in a regulated industry is expected.
  • Hands-on experience driving OCM activities including developing training plans, managing communications, and conducting stakeholder engagement for enterprise system rollouts is expected.
  • Familiarity with OCM frameworks and tools (ADKAR, change impact analysis techniques, etc.) is a plus.

 

SKILLS

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Practical experience with system cutovers and large-scale go-live events, preferably involving SAP.

Target Pay Range:  $115,100.00 to $143,900.00  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  10.0%
