JOB TITLE: SAP S4HANA Order to Cash Workstream Implementation Manager

 

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash (O2C) Implementation Manager to lead and drive the strategy, design, and implementation of the O2C processes as part of our global S/4HANA business transformation program. This role is responsible for ensuring scalable, standardized, and optimized processes across the quote-to-cash lifecycle, with a strong focus on customer experience, operational efficiency, and financial integration. This role will report to the overall SAP S4 Program Leader.

 

Required Experience:
The ideal candidate has successfully led an ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA transformation for the OTC workstream in a global, highly regulated environment. Proven experience delivering large-scale, cross-functional ERP programs with discipline, urgency, and a focus on measurable business value is essential.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Lead 4 in a box functional teams (function workstream, IT and SI) throughout program milestones and deliverables.
  • Lead the global Order to Cash workstream within the SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative, covering Quote Management, Sales Order Processing, Delivery, Invoicing, Credit Management, and Revenue Recognition working closely with the systems integrator.
  • Working closely with the systems integrator, help the OTC team with the design and configuration of core S/4HANA modules including Sales and Distribution, Credit Management, and integration with Finance, Manufacturing and Delivery.
  • Assist with workshops with global business and IT stakeholders to define future-state OTC processes aligned with S/4HANA best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with adjacent workstreams such as Finance (for billing and revenue recognition), Logistics (for delivery and fulfillment), and Customer Experience (CRM, CPQ).
  • Define customer master data governance and support data migration for customers, pricing, and contracts.
  • Lead the implementation of Fiori apps, embedded analytics, and automation capabilities to optimize order fulfillment and billing accuracy.
  • Manage functional specification development for any necessary customizations, integrations, or enhancements.
  • Plan and execute testing (SIT, UAT) and ensure end-user training and change management readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, trade, and audit requirements within the O2C process.
  • Skilled in the concepts of GxP & ISO Validation Protocols
  • Ensure thoughtful People, Change and Learning partnering with our Organizational Change Management Lead for training and organizational readiness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure global alignment and buy-in across the organization.
  • Interface with all levels of management to provide strategic and tactical advice on project planning execution, change management and keep leadership well informed.
  • Tracks status and metrics on the project delivery and value; escalates to functional management upon identification of deviations (or potential deviations) from plan and budget.
  • Monitors program progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Resolves and/or escalates program-related issues in a timely fashion.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 8+ years of SAP experience, including at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation with a focus on O2C.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP SD, Pricing, Billing, Credit Management (FSCM), and integration with FI/CO.
  • Experience with revenue recognition (RAR/SD RevRec) in compliance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606.
  • Strong understanding of quote-to-cash lifecycle and its impact on customer service and working capital.
  • Familiarity with interfaces to external systems (e.g., CRM, 3PLs, eCommerce, EDI, tax engines).
  • Familiarity with Agile and/or Activate methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience leading global transformation initiatives and working across time zones and cultures.

 

SKILLS

  • SAP S/4HANA SD certification or relevant training.
  • Familiarity with SAP CX (Customer Experience), Salesforce, or CPQ platforms.
  • Experience with SAP Advanced ATP, MDG, or Subscription Billing is a plus.
  • Knowledge of tools like Signavio is a bonus.
  • Working knowledge of automation or RPA tools applied to order management or invoicing processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate project and program objectives to internal and external teams including clear, timely communication to stakeholders
  • Exceptional leadership abilities and working with cross functional teams

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

SAP certifications in Sales and Distribution  preferred

Target Pay Range:  $152,500.00 to $190,600.00  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  20.0%
