JOB TITLE: SAP S4HANA Global Operations Workstream Implementation Manager
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Implementation Manager to lead the Operations workstream of our S/4HANA business transformation. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert and delivery leader for transforming legacy ERP and shop floor systems into SAP S/4HANA, with a focus on Supply Chain, Production Planning, Manufacturing Execution, and Quality Management. This role will report to the overall SAP S4 Program Leader with a dotted line into the Functional VP.
Required Experience:
The ideal candidate has successfully led an ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA transformation for the Operations workstreams in a global, highly regulated environment. Proven experience delivering large-scale, cross-functional ERP programs with discipline, urgency, and a focus on measurable business value is essential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA solutions across Supply Chain and Manufacturing functions.
- Partner with the program teams and the leadership teams, technology teams and system integrator representing Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
- Lead 4 in a box functional teams (function workstream, IT and SI) throughout program milestones and deliverables.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system solutions, focusing on modules such as LWM, P2P, MDG, MTD, FTP, QM and integration with SAP ME/MII or DMC.
- Conduct process workshops with stakeholders from Procurement, Logistics, Planning, Quality, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, R&D, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams.
- Drive and lead program governance for Operations, support process harmonization and standardization across our global footprint.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT) to ensure integration and end-to-end process alignment.
- Ensure thoughtful People, Change and Learning partnering with our Organizational Change Management Lead for training and organizational readiness.
- Define and document To-Be processes and support Fit-to-Standard assessments.
- Support master data design and data migration strategy for production-related data (BOMs, routings, work centers, etc.).
- Coordinate with technical teams on custom development, system integration, and interfaces (MES, LIMS, SCADA, etc.).
- Facilitate testing (SIT, UAT), training, and change management activities related to operations and manufacturing.
- Skilled in the concepts of GxP & ISO Validation Protocols
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure global alignment and buy-in across the organization.
- Interface with all levels of management to provide strategic and tactical advice on project planning execution, change management and keep leadership well informed.
- Tracks status and metrics on the project delivery and value; escalates to functional management upon identification of deviations (or potential deviations) from plan and budget.
- Monitors program progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Resolves and/or escalates program-related issues in a timely fashion.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and experience of program management in an IT setting.
- 8+ years of SAP experience, including at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation in the Operations/Manufacturing domain.
- Deep knowledge of SAP modules: PP, QM, PM, PP-DS; familiarity with DMC or MII/ME is a plus.
- Experience with discrete or process manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of shop floor processes, manufacturing KPIs, and digital transformation best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Activate methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills.
SKILLS
- Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies and smart factory initiatives.
- Exposure to tools like SAP Signavio for process mapping.
- Knowledge of MDG, EWM, IBP, or Ariba integration is a bonus.
- Exceptional leadership abilities and working with cross functional teams
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate project and program objectives to internal and external teams including clear, timely communication to stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to analyze complex data
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
SAP certifications in Production Planning or S/4HANA Manufacturing preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Target Pay Range: $152,500.00 to $190,600.00 - Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base: 20.0%
