S&OP Network Mgr
JOB SUMMARY
The Network Manager of S&OP collaborates with Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, and Manufacturing teams to create an aligned, cross-functional plan. This position leads the dialogue each month for their respective customers and products with key regional and global counterparts in sales and marketing. Core function includes strategic and tactical decision-making related to balancing demand and supply; aligns volume and mix with capacity and materials availability; and integrates financial and operating plans with strategic objectives to deliver improved operating and financial results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Create an 18-month manufacturing plan for respective business unit with key assumptions documented and aligned with commercial and manufacturing stakeholders
- Lead the end-to-end S&OP process and all related supply and inventory meetings, metrics, and improvement projects for a specific Business Unit.
- Develop collaborative relationships with Commercial, Marketing, Factory, Procurement, stakeholders to improve service levels while lowering inventory days-on-hand and ensuring effective production schedules
- Ensure component material is available to support the manufacturing plan, including identifying supply constraints and partnering with stakeholders to mitigate potential supply gaps
- Support the development and execution of short and long-term business objectives of production plans focused on capacity planning, material availability, customer focus, efficiencies, and cost containment
- Track performance metrics and analysis to identify both opportunities and potential issues within S&OP processes and reporting as well as those across departments; provide insights and recommendations to help improve results
- Work closely with marketing on planning and execution of new product launches as well planning/managing other product-life-cycle phases
- Work closely with factory, regional planning, and logistics to evaluate the demand/production plan against inventory, capacity, and external factors and to create mitigation actions if needed
- Develops solutions to non-routine problems of moderate to intermediate complexity within functional area of expertise that have a positive impact across functional lines
- Must be able to work independently while still functioning well in a team
- Able to communicate effectively with senior management, peers and colleagues cross functionally and globally
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
- MBA is desirable.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Demand Planning, Supply planning, and Inventory Planning
- SAP experience
- Strong Manufacturing background desirable
Skills
- Working knowledge of manufacturing, quality, planning, documentation systems and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business/technical problems and select, design, and implement solutions in accordance to business needs.
- Ability to interact with diplomacy and tact while maintaining appropriate assertiveness and persistence.
- Demonstrated knowledge of information handling systems.
- Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Able to conduct business in a global, multi-cultural environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Leadership: meeting facilitation, innovative, skill sharing and training, organization, conflict management, change agent, manage relationships

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- An MBA and/or APICS certification is highly desirable.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Target Pay Range: $96,200.00 to $120,300.00 - Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base: 10.0%
