Job Title:

Manager, Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) Review Strategy and Execution


Job Summary:

The Manager, Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) Review Strategy and Execution owns the companywide processes and system (Veeva Vault PromoMats) for the review and approval of compliant public-facing promotional and educational materials, internally known as TruSource. This role will partner with leadership across all functions (including, but not limited to, Marketing, Medical/Scientific/Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Labeling, Training, Brand) to define, refine, promote and ensure adherence to TruSource policies and procedures.


Essential Duties:

  • Brings previous MLR review process expertise to help set the TruSource vision and direction in partnership with the TruSource Oversight Committee and other Commercial business partners to support business priorities and maintain the health of the MLR review environment.
  • Owns the TruSource policy and procedures, including workflows, reviewer guidelines and lifecycle management, while proactively identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and process automation.
  • Guides the TruSource Operations team, tasked with facilitating the TruSource process to ensure it runs efficiently and adheres to corporate and TruSource policies and procedures.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert and business owner for Veeva Vault PromoMats system, including vendor management, contracting, and tactical execution.
  • Oversees and participates in the development of comprehensive onboarding and refresher training programs for all stakeholder groups — content owners/creators, reviewers/approvers and end users.
  • Establishes and guides strategic understanding of TruSource process KPIs and timelines to drive improvement, efficiency and effectiveness of the process and system.
  • Serves as a senior member of the TruSource Oversight Committee to lead the meeting, keep the team focused, resolve or escalate disputes and establish meeting culture.
  • Build strong relationships with internal business partners to ensure adherence to policies and procedures


  • Works cross-functionally with content owners and reviewers to escalate issues and expedite business critical items as needed.
    • Provides coaching, feedback and development opportunities to maintain and improve overall team performance.
    • Seeks ongoing knowledge of industry and regulatory standards and applies this knowledge to policy, procedures, communications and training as appropriate.





  • Bachelor’s degree



  • 8+ years of experience with MLR process for promotional content in a medical device setting
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Expert proficiency with Veeva Vault PromoMats
  • Knowledge about applicable regulations and standards affecting medical devices a plus



  • Strong leadership, project management, strategic and analytical skills to operate authoritatively, independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with all levels of management and consulting with key business stakeholders with an ability to influence for greater outcomes
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized approach
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, highly collaborative and solution-oriented
  • Ability to motivate and inspire team members to do their best work through coaching
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat



An equivalent competency level acquired through a variation of these qualifications may be considered.

Target Pay Range:  $109,200.00 to $136,500.00  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  10.0%
