Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies is hiring two ITS System Administrators to join our Infrastructure and Operations team within the IT department. This team serves as primary operations keeping our back office and manufacturing systems running. No matter the role, every associate has a rewarding career experience that makes a difference in patients’ lives.

 

The Opportunity:

  • Enable technology which supports our overall business strategy and growth, including manufacturing facilities all over the world
  • Manage system activities, including backups, monitoring, and daily checks of systems
  • Provide operational support and incident resolution to server-based systems, applications and clients
  • Develop and maintain pertinent documentation and procedures for the technology area according to industry, vendor, Terumo BCT, and ITS standards
  • Effectively monitor systems and enterprise applications. Maximize performance and reliability of on-premise and cloud based systems.
  • Research and identify complex incidents and problems working to remediate or implement appropriate solutions with a sense of urgency

 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of Systems Administration level experience
    • Minimum 2 years configuring and supporting cloud technologies (Azure, Office 365)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills to support and assist internal business customers
  • Proficient knowledge with the following technologies and tasks:
    • Configure and support Windows Server based servers in a large, global, multi-site environment.  
    • Microsoft server operating systems and related enterprise applications, services and protocols including integrations with 3rd party systems and custom developed applications (Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Management, MS Clustering, DNS, DHCP, load balancing)
    • Active Directory, Azure, including email and group configurations, associated policies for tenants and usage, information security awareness, and multi-site replication.
    • Enterprise storage arrays (SAN and/or NAS), preferably NetApp and Pure
    • Manage backup and recovery operations, data, systems and associated applications.

 

Position Details:

  • Option to work remotely
  • Must be able to work non-standard hours, including after-hours/weekend maintenance activities AND on-call rotation for 24-hour monitoring, incident and problem resolution
  • Requires occasional lifting of up to 70 pounds and some work in enterprise data center

Target Pay Range:  $68,200.00 to $85,300.00  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  7.0%
