HRIS Analyst

 

 

JOB SUMMARY

Subject matter expert supporting and maintaining multiple human resources systems. Technical point of contact for both human resources and other business teams. Assists with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. Supports software upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as required. Project coordination, communication and management for specified HR activities related to overall organizational goals.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Systems Support and Reporting

  • Careful analysis of communication strategy and key messages to user groups with consistent presentation and overall global approach.
  • Data management for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving problems, unexpected results or process flaws.
  • Assimilation and appropriate response to user feedback.
  • Manage scheduled activities.
  • Recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements and lead implementation strategies.
  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Drive development and documentation of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
  • Analyze data integrity through running queries and process flow checks auditing data feed to payroll
  • Maintain security and update pages on the HR SharePoint site. 

System Maintenance

  • Review, test and implement software upgrades or patches.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix.
  • Hold responsibility for data integrity and build consistencies and transferability between multiple systems.
  • Security compliance of HR applications to avoid vulnerability and protect infrastructure.
  • Document processes and results.  

Projects/Process Improvement  

  • Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, procedure changes and/or major variations from established current workflow that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
  • Serve as key liaison with third parties and other internal stakeholders such as Payroll, Total Rewards, Learning & Development and HR Business Teams.
  • Utilize appropriate methodology and project management skills establishing scope, clear goals, resources, deadlines, milestones, budget requirements, and tracking for results.
  • Build commitment through change management preparing and supporting those affected by updated tools.  

Training

  • Partner with Learning & Development to create user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
  • Train human resources and other business teams on processes and functionality.
  • Map appropriate training for new users and ensure completion on timely basis.

 

 

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

 

Experience

Minimum 2 years experience

  • HRIS software applications and products including SAP installation/maintenance. Strong success in project management and experience with systems implementations and upgrades. 

 

Skills

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including ability to quickly process company specific data such as benefit eligibility and enrollment requirements.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with database tools.
  • Ability to meet technical goals within short time frames reflecting appropriate business knowledge.
  • Business acumen to understand business implications of decisions and align work with strategic organizational goals.
  • Analytical ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HR systems such as ADP and SuccessFactors.
  • Effective interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professionalism and ability to approach others in tactful manner and react well under pressure.
  • Strong time management and organization skills to accomplish multiple projects within given deadlines.
  • Coordination, active participation and leadership of project management plans to demonstrate accuracy and communicating progress.
  • Ability to influence others without any direct reports.  
  • Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

PHR (Professional Human Resources)/SPHR (Senior Professional Human Resources) preferred.

Project Management Certification preferred.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

Target Pay Range:  $69,400.00 to $86,700.00  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  7.0%
