JOB TITLE: Global Product Manager - Cell Therapy Technologies - Welders and Lifecycle Management

  

JOB SUMMARY

Under minimal supervision, provides management in the areas of product direction and objectives, marketing strategies and sales tools, and problem resolution for assigned product lines, commercial lead for our welders and associated services, lifecycle management of key cell isolation and washing platforms

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Collects, analyzes and resolves issues with competitor information. Tracks sales, develops and refines marketing, promotional, and pricing strategies.
  • Assists customers and sales associates by presenting product seminars, clinical in-service assistance, and marketing programs. 
  • Manages assigned product lines with the highest level of expertise including communicating strategies, awareness of product inventory, manufacturing or quality problems, and application issues. 
  • Drives insights and needs assessment, overall understanding of customer needs/issues, market dynamics and competitive landsacep in partnership with regional tems and communicate global trends for the welder/sterile connectivity market
  • Maintains a close working relationship with various departments of the company to develop a fluid exchange of planning, forecasting, and marketing information with other functions.
  • Establishes and achieves sales and market share goals for assigned products by monitoring and analyzing business performance including  sales vs. forecast (units, revenue, gross profit), actual vs. plan selling price, product mix, disposables utilization, competitor information, and other relevant marketing factors.
  • Develops and implements the introductory business plans for new products or product enhancements to assure proper positioning and strategies. 
  • Works closely with the sales organization and marketing managers to successfully identify business opportunities, support tools, and new marketing programs in a timely and high quality manner. 
  • Coordinates the design and implementation of promotion, sales force collateral, and customer communication materials and documentation to ensure consistency with customers’ needs and the system selling approach. 

  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

 

Experience

Minimum 5 years experience

 

Skills

  • Knowledge of sales/marketing strategic planning and program delivery.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems and develop programs with creativity and good judgment.
  • Expanded knowledge of domestic market and global marketing strategy.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and market trends within the context of product and business capabilities and the ability to translate this assessment into workable strategy.
  • Ability to work effectively and comfortably with physicians/medical professionals, and with all levels in the business organization.
  • Requires a thorough understanding of marketplace dynamics as they relate to product, price, promotion and distribution.
  • Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Organized, with an ability to develop plans and gain alignment upfront with key stakeholders, while maintaining accountability
  • Effective communication both verbally, and written, bothe internally and externally
  • Seeks feedback and accepts ownership for actions and decisions
