JOB SUMMARY
 

This role is responsible for supporting Supply Chain and Global Manufacturing through the innovation, implementation, and tracking of tools to analyze the performance of key functions while leveraging and supporting core IT applications. This requires innovative thinking, consulting skills, project management, and skillful manipulation and analysis of large amounts of data, to eliminate silos, build collaborative relationships among data stakeholders, and create clarity around data ownership, processes and standards.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
 

  • Acts as the intermediary between the business and IT, using a deep understanding of business processes and technology to help business partners achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Work with ITS infrastructure support personnel as well as software vendors to resolve problems.
  • Provide consultative support on business-led technology initiatives.
  • Develop business analytics that enable identification, prioritization, and justification of improvement programs that optimize Global Operations performance.
  • Identify improvement opportunities for current systems, accounting, and reporting methods.
  • Diagram and evaluate existing processes, plan and analyze activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.
  • Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
  • Use Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Excel: Pivot Table, Power Query, Power Pivot, and Data Models to gather information from multiple sources and deliver information to the end user.
  • Act as a Microsoft Power BI, visualization, and dash-boarding subject matter expert.
  • Perform cost and benefit analyses.
  • Research industry best practices, benchmarks and tools to incorporate into analytics practices.
     
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Analytics or Business Administration (with Supply Chain, Operations or Analytics concentration).

 

Experience

Minimum 5 years experience in a business setting engaged in business analytics with 1 to 2 years supporting Supply Chain or Operations.

 

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • Experience supporting Power BI dashboard creation
  • Experience in data warehouse, data lake, data analytics, big data or business intelligence products
  • Experience with statistical and predictive modeling.
  • Experience with prioritizing and being successful in an environment with competing demands.
  • Excels at telling a story with data, and using data visualization to help people find meaningful insights.
  • Strong leadership presence, excels at communicating and presenting directly to managers and leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of SQL, and MS SQL Server a plus.
  • SAP knowledge a plus.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

 

Target Pay Range:  $65,600.00 to $82,000.00  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  7.0%
