ESSENTIAL DUTIES

 

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and operationalize global supply chain strategies aligned with corporate goals and growth objectives.
  • Partner with executive leadership to establish global supply chain objectives as part of both short- and long-term business planning.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, process improvement, and risk mitigation across supply chain functions.
  • Assess market trends, regulatory shifts, and emerging technologies to inform strategic direction.
  • Translate complex strategic concepts into actionable programs and measurable outcomes.

 

Supply Chain Optimization & Global Operations

  • Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement of supply chain processes, logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
  • Implement systems and best practices to enhance visibility, cost efficiency, and reliability across the global supply chain.
  • Enable adoption/replications across regional and functional teams.
  • Establish governance, reviews, and dashboards to sustain progress and accountability.
  • Evaluate the impact of new programs or policies on manufacturing and logistics operations, ensuring business continuity and scalability.
  • Champion digital transformation tools, advanced analytics, AI and automation to enable data-driven decision-making and efficiency.

 

Strategic Leadership & Advisory Support

  • Serve as a senior advisor and thought partner to the VP, providing high-quality analysis, recommendations, and executive-level deliverables.
  • Prepare and refine executive presentations and briefing materials that reflect strategic priorities and brand standards.
  • Act as a surrogate for the VP in meetings and decision-making forums, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and leadership intent.
  • Drive strategic alignment across multiple business units, ensuring clarity and accountability in execution.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Alignment

  • Partner with leaders across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, R&D, and Commercial teams to ensure strategic and operational cohesion.
  • Lead communication efforts that cascade priorities and reinforce alignment with enterprise-wide objectives.
  • Facilitate decision-making across global teams by coordinating input, managing dependencies, and ensuring clarity on ownership and timelines.

 

Performance Management

  • Establish frameworks for performance tracking, KPI monitoring, and business outcome reporting.
  • Identify and lead initiatives that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and increase agility across global operations.
  • Manage action plans, commitments, and follow-ups on behalf of the SVP, ensuring execution fidelity and accountability.
  • Lead post-initiative evaluations to capture learnings and optimize future efforts.

 

Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives

  • Lead end-to-end management of special initiatives, including market expansion, operational restructuring, or organizational design projects.
  • Develop project governance models (e.g., Steering Committees, PMOs), ensuring cross-functional representation and transparent decision-making.
  • Serve as the connective tissue between teams—facilitating the movement of ideas, resources, and decisions across global operations.
  • Integrate relevant sustainability initiatives into supply chain strategy.

 

Leadership & Development

  • Cultivate a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and innovation within the team and across partner functions.
  • Identify, mentor, and develop high-potential team members to strengthen organizational capability and succession planning. Enable stretch opportunities and individualized development plans.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related discipline required.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Operations, Strategy, or related field strongly preferred.

 

Experience

  • Seven to ten (7–10) years of progressive leadership experience, ideally in a global supply chain, operations, or strategic Chief of Staff capacity.
  • Proven record of influencing at the executive level and driving cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of global supply chain principles, business planning, and organizational transformation.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and presenting executive-level communications.
  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

LOCATION

Lakewood, Colorado or Remote Globally (Ideally in NA or EMEA) - Open to candidates willing to relocate to the Denver metro area.

Target Pay Range:  $191,700.00 to $239,700.00  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  30.0%
