JOB TITLE:  Deployment Consultant

 

JOB SUMMARY

Utilizing specialized knowledge and technologies will perform a broad range of tasks, beyond routine in nature, which may include research, architecture planning, analysis, design, coding and testing, support, training, and implementation of information technology solutions.  This position will work independently and in a team environment to meet various customer requests. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Assist customers in deploying Terumo BCT software products to meet their environment specifications
  • Scope implementation projects. Estimate effort and timeline to complete
  • Plan and manage implementation projects. Track milestone completion and project issues. Provide status reports to customers
  • Lead formal training sessions on how to implement Terumo BCT software products externally
  • Support sessions on requirements definition and product architecture
  • Implement customizations for Terumo BCT software products
  • Implement new implementation methodology and best practices for Terumo BCT software installations
  • Drive product improvement by providing customer and partner feedback to Product Management and Engineering.
  • As necessary, assist Technical Support in troubleshooting customer issues and Quality Assurance in testing new product releases
  • Provide Technical assistance and sales support to Terumo BCT sales team
  • Provide Level 1/Level 2 Oracle support for customer and internal resources
  • Provide Custom database query support
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise to Terumo BCT customer base
  • Liaise with staff at all levels of a client organization
  • Functional testing and debugging of objects, which may support domain functionality (i.e., procedures), domain graphical interface functionality, common data types, or utilities for communication, peripherals, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

 

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in SQL and/or Oracle database environments
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with Windows Server administration
  • Minimum of 5 years experience of advanced diagnosis and troubleshooting
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in network LAN/WAN configuration and support
  • Experience with Issue tracking systems
  • System integration and/or 3rd party interface development
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with Client/Server architecture installation and support
  • Knowledge in custom SQL queries
  • Proven track record with customer interaction, both technical and non-technical from executive level management to department liaison

 

Skills

  • Able to manage project priorities and deadlines as assigned
  • Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Ability to clarify a client's system specifications, understanding their work practices and the nature of their business
  • Present technical training to customers
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network-based solutions - IT Network architecture
  • Able to work in a cross-functional team environment
  • Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

 

ADDITIONAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Domestic travel required (up 80% at peak times)

 

Target Pay Range:  $84,300.00 to $105,300.00  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  7.0%
