JOB TITLE 

Senior Creative Copywriter

 

 

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Creative Copywriter is a key member of the Corporate Communications team with overall responsibility for strategizing and developing content for global and regional marketing communications programs. The ideal candidate is a highly talented copywriter who knows how to tell a brand story through compelling concepts and great copy that attracts and engages. The Senior Creative Copywriter is collaborative, highly communicative and able to build strong relationships with stakeholders. The ideal candidate is comfortable partnering directly with clients, has a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, and can stay on brand while writing for different audiences and channels.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Ideate concepts in response to creative briefs across multiple media and throughout campaigns with a 360-degree outlook across tactics.
  • Ensure brand consistency in concept, content and tone across all touchpoints to protect and build on our brand DNA.
  • Works closely with the Marketing team to gain a clear understanding of the marketing need and help lead the creative development of the identified marketing materials.
  • Collaborates closely with the Corporate Marketing team to help identify tools and tactics to promote the business and develop consistent messaging of product lines, business areas and customer segments.
  • Think and work strategically, always laddering up to the overarching strategy.
  • Participates actively in and helps lead brainstorming sessions to identify creative concepts and strategies.
  • Present work with clarity and confidence.
  • Serves as back-up to the Content and QC Manager as needed.
  • Drives best-in-class marketing practices and center of excellence within the Corporate Marketing & Communications team and influence organizational thinking on marketing excellence. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or Business or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

 

Experience

  • 10 years minimum experience in writing, creative development, marketing and corporate communications with at least 5 years in a corporate environment.
  • Creative development in a global organization is required.
  • Creative development in healthcare is required. Experience writing for topics including cell and gene therapy, blood centers, cell collections, hematology/oncology a plus.

  • Proven track record of developing impactful content with a deep understanding of the ways copy helps us achieve our marketing goals

Target Pay Range:  $87,400.00 to $109,200.00  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  7.0%
