JOB SUMMARY

The GTI Business Analyst is responsible for driving business insights and process improvements across the GTI function. This role will establish robust data structures, develop interactive dashboards, and deliver actionable analytics to support strategic and operational decision-making. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage analytics projects, and champion the adoption of innovative technologies and best practices within GTI.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Analysis & Data Integration:

  • Analyze business processes, data, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Conduct advanced data analysis using AI, SQL, and Python to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights relevant to GTI initiatives.
  • Design and implement scalable, efficient data structures and reporting systems.
  • Integrate and map multiple data sources with varying structures, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency.
  • Clean, organize, and validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Support governance, process mapping, and ad-hoc projects for the GTI team.
  • Leverage advanced analytics tools and methodologies, including generative AI, to enhance business outcomes.
  • Document business requirements, data models, and analysis methodologies for knowledge sharing.

 

Visualization & Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and other visualization tools.
  • Translate complex data into clear, concise visualizations and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with GTI and business leaders to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for GTI leadership and stakeholders.

 

Strategic Insights & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with teams across the organization to provide data-driven recommendations supporting GTI strategy and operations.
  • Make recommendations on system design, reporting, and analytics improvements.
  • Work with IT, Digital Transformation, and other relevant teams to drive enhancements.
  • Develop a solid understanding of the GTI function and its impact on the broader business.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MS, MBA, PMP) are a plus.

 

 

Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience in business analysis, data analytics, or a related role. Demonstrated experience integrating and mapping multiple data sources with different structures or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered Experience

Skills

  • Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development.
  • Strong experience with AI tools and methodologies for business analytics.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
  • Strong analytical, data modeling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex information and deliver clear conclusions.
  • Experience independently leading and managing small to medium-sized projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in both in-person and remote environments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Target Pay Range:  $71,400.00 to $89,200.00  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  7.0%
