As an Associate Software Quality Analyst focused on software projects within our research and development, you'll have the opportunity to drive forward-thinking initiatives and shape the future of our products. In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting in-depth research, exploring cutting-edge technologies, and implementing advanced testing methodologies to ensure the highest standards of quality across our software R&D projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Applies standard procedure and learned knowledge to develop software verification solutions within established guidelines.  Develops testing solutions of moderate to low complexity.
  • Applies basic Software QA skills and functional learned knowledge to detect and verify corrected problems that are not immediately evident in existing systems
  • Collaborates with individuals at all levels within the software team in solving problems. Recommends modifications to operating practices within skill speciality or team.  Sets own priorities and objectives with supervisory consultation.
  • Assumes ownership of  project tasks with guidance from others
  • Develops test procedures, and test scripts based on system and software requirements.
  • Participate in project goals, scope, and schedule along with other members of the software team 
  • Contribute  to providing solutions to technical issues associated with projects

        

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

 

Experience

No prior experience required.

 

Skills

  • Basic qualifications  within the Software QA function with limited to moderate understanding of the principles, theories, practices, and concepts therein
  • Basic familiarity of software development and quality assurance processes
  • Basic familiarity with testing processes and test protocol design
  • Basic familiarity with systems analysis and design concepts
  • Demonstrate good detail orientation, priortization, and communication skills
  • May communicate technical content both verbal and written

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

Target Pay Range:  $72,700.00 to $90,900.00  -  Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:  7.0%
