Sr Warehouse Supervisor

Job summary:

Working under limited supervision, the basic function of this position includes the daily management, maintenance, and monitoring of existing warehousing processes/systems, evaluating the adequacy and implementing improvements to these, and providing substantial input into the development of new processes/systems in all of the company local warehouse facilities. This position will be in charged of the performance related to: receiving, putaway , materials management in the production floor , sterilization preparation and distribution processes, in addition will support Global initiatives based on business requirements.

Essential duties:

• Manages and provides leadership for the functional group's development, direction, and effectiveness, adhering to organizational policies and processes and supporting overall business and corporate objectives.
• Manages, supports, and participates in the execution of the daily work processes and systems.
• Creates, maintains, and analyzes data for functional area.
• Identifies, recommends, and implements means to continuously improve the quality of service.
• Actively participates in the annual budgeting process and may be responsible for managing an operation within budgetary guidelines.
•  Enhances, recommends, and implements internal policies and procedures including those which relate to our regulated environment.
• Assures department personnel are fully trained in all aspects of their positions and receive feedback on performance on a timely basis.
• Offers creative ideas and solutions, which generate benefit to material movement.
• Supports and implements Quality Assurance actions.
• Assists in maintaining general housekeeping and resolves building and equipment maintenance and safety related issues.
• Tracks for proper control of inventory, ensuring that an optimal level of storage capacity and product flows is consistently maintained.
• Must be flexible to work different shifts and locations as needed.
• Develope and participate on interdepartmental continuous improvement projects.
• Develop and participate on EHS initiatives.
• Assure equipment preventive maintenance keep up to date.
• Participate on cross training programs or initiatives to increase the knowledge within the organization.
• Responsible to maintain equipment availability systems .
• Collaborate with cross -functional team to develop and implement local and global continuous improvement initiatives. 
• Develop training programs as a SME to assure the correct hiring in the correct position. Lead different initiatives or projects at the same time based on the structure assigned
• Based on the position nature the supervisor should maintain the availability to support extra hours due to receiving urgencies, market backorders, cycle counts, Quality topics or any other task related.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

Licenses or certifications:

• Hazardous materials certification preferred.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.

Experience:

• Minimum +2- 3 years’ experience
• Experience in inventory control required.
• Experience in the fundamentals of warehouse practices and techniques required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with international and small package shipping preferred.
• Experience in returned goods, QC Hold and associated GMP requirements preferred.
• Experience in receiving and warehousing functions and practices preferred.
• Experience in Audits participation
• Experience as a backup in Audits
• Experience in Non conformance / CAPAs execution
• Experience in Distribution centers processes development
• SAP knowledge: Advanced
