JOB TITLE: Senior Plant Finance Analyst
JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Plant Finance Analyst is a key finance business partner for the manufacturing plant, responsible for driving cost accuracy, financial planning, and performance reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, autonomy, and sound business judgment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
A. Costing & Manufacturing Finance:
- Maintain and update standard cost
- Review and validate BOMs and routings in collaboration with Engineering
- Analyze variances, including raw material, direct labor and overhead variances.
B. FP&A & Reporting:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial forecasts and support detailed variance analysis.
- Support the annual budgeting process by preparing financial data, consolidating inputs, and providing analytical support to the Plant Controller.
- Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI or similar tools.
- Track and report daily/weekly/monthly operational KPIs.
C. Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Streamline and optimize reporting processes and financial workflows.
Identify opportunities for process improvement across finance and operation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
Experience
Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- SAP experience preferred.
- An advanced degree or certification, such as an MBA, CMA or CPA beneficial.
Skills
- In depth knowledge of and experience in Cost Accounting
- Demonstrated excellent analytical skills.
- Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to provide timely, high quality, and accurate work.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and productive work habits.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Prior ERP System experience, SAP strongly preferred
- Knowledge of or prior experience with PowerBI prererred
