JOB TITLE: Sr Planning Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY
This position provides support to the Costa Rica Supply Chain organization. This position will support and analyze complex data and information in support of the following areas: Warehouse, Procurement, SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) Process, Global Inventory Management, and Logistics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Support Global SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) Process.
- Execute local SIOP activities (Demand, Hard & Soft Capacity, Family Volumes).
- Overseeing planning development plans and applications (short, mid, and long term).
- Managing planning compliance.
- Manage team performance and development.
- Analyze sales forecast data and prepare detailed reports.
- Analyze inventory data and prepare detailed reports.
- Conduct inventory audits and work with regional supply chain teams to improve data and processes.
- Analyze customer order data and work with regional supply chain teams to improve data and processes.
- Analyze customer on-time shipment data and work with regional supply chain teams to improve data and processes.
- Support the supply chain strategy with the overall business goals and objectives, as well as financial responsibilities and achieving results.
- Stablish deliveries in SAP (3PL) based on global allocation.
- Provide support for Global Logistics Projects as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
Experience
Minimum 5 years experience.
Skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and prepare detailed reports.
- Demonstrated ability to summarize information and report meeting minutes.
- Demonstrated experience in inventory control methods, inventory expiration requirements, and achieving metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to support complex projects and work with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work proactively in a global environment developing strong linkages at all levels.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

An equivalent competency level acquired through a variation of these qualifications may be considered.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) preferred.
