SAP Business Analyst

JOB SUMMARY
Under minimal supervision and reporting to a global function in the US, you will be responsible to provide analysis and act as a functional business resource in an existing and emerging SAP ECC 6.0 environment for business operations in the Americas. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited research, analysis, solution design, fit/gap analysis, testing, issue diagnosis, maintenance, end user support, training, and implementation of information technology solutions in the SAP environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Works with business stakeholders to identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement in the operations space.
• Meets with the global product owner for operations to help to sequence work based strategic priorities in the operations space.
• Validates the SAP fit to business requirements by identifying solution options and business process changes, if necessary.
• Works hand in hand with the SAP functional/technical team to implement process improvements in SAP through data changes, configuration, and WRICEF’s.
• Translates business issues or requirements to many different levels of understanding: business users, senior management, IT technical, and SAP functional.
• Conducts research and identifies problems and significantly improve, change or adapt existing methods and techniques in accordance with business needs.
• Takes initiative to understand customers and their environment. Dedicated to quality client service and proactive and responsive to client needs.
• Requires flexibility to adapt to and willingness to learn new technologies with demonstrated initiatives to continue life-long learning in the SAP space and beyond.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business related field and 6+ years of related business or manufacturing experience or 4 years of related experience with a master’s degree.
Experience
5+ years’ experience with SAP ECC in the following modules: Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Warehouse Management (WM), Logistics Execution (LE). Quality Management (QM) is plus.
Demonstrated ability to understand SAP at both a business process level and configuration/master data levels.
Skills
• Demonstrated ability to initiate, promote, and exhibit team-oriented behavior.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of multiple business disciplines.
• Requires ability and willingness to educate and train others.
• Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
