Job summary:
Under low supervision, performs timely and accurate work on a range of standard testing, experiments, setup of raw materials, clean-up of equipment, and other tasks related to the scientific or engineering fields in compliance with the Company and external regulatory guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Essential duties:
- Performs a range of standardized/routine and somewhat special testing procedures of environmental monitoring and product testing using standard tools.
- Review sterilization documentation and completes the sterilization certificate.
- Identifies standard trends or problems and helps to investigate and resolve them.
- Performs standard equipment tests/inspections. Assists engineers, designers, or scientists in the simple design and building of tests protocols, test fixtures, prototypes, etc. commensurate with experience level.
- Provides work direction, trains, and serves as a lead, coach, and mentor to less experienced technicians.
- Handles expense material requisitions up to a level determined by the department.
- Prepares and implements protocols and procedures involving known infectious or potentially infectious agents.
- Participate with engineers or scientists on investigation development.
- Maintains, accurately follows, and records protocols/procedures, laboratory quality records/documentation, and test logs.
- Operates standard laboratory equipment (e.g., balances, pH meter, and pipettes).
- Attend meetings and capture important information or tasks related to Microbiology, good manufacturing practices and sterility.
Education:
- Technical degree or an equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions in the following lab sciences areas: microbiology, chemistry, and medical industry.
- English intermediate level (written and speak) able to communicate and coordinate activities with foreign partners.
Licenses or certifications:
- N/A.

Minimum 2 years of experience.
