JOB TITLE: Global Supplier Quality Assurance
JOB SUMMARY
Being responsible for supplier quality management of indirect suppliers. Handling supplier control including supplier evaluation and supplier performance monitoring.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Classifying supplier per the levels defined per supplier qualification SOP.
- To carry out re-qualification following yearly plan or other requirements from manager upwards and give proposed conclusion on business continuity.
- Responsibility for verifying and monitoring the material or service
- Establishing ongoing performance metrics for levels 1-4 suppliers, reviewing on-going supplier performance data, and adjusting supplier status based on ongoing monitoring result.
- Establishing and maintaining a supplier file for each supplier, contractor, or consultant.
- Establish and perform supplier audit plan to lead them in quality and ensure they can supply product within
- specifications.
- Initiating, controlling, and monitoring nonconformance, supplier corrective action(s) and verification of effectiveness.
- Preparing weekly, monthly report and attending to quality meeting and making minutes, prepare quality data trending.
- Managing documents and records per requirement of QMS.
- Other jobs will be assigned by direct Supervisor or Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience.
Skills
- Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Quality assurance/manufacturing Process/supply chain
- Communication with supplier and approach to problem solving.
- Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
-Or-
An equivalent competency level acquired through a variation of these qualifications may be considered.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
General Labor Environment requirements include: use of personal protective equipment, reading, speaking, hearing, walking, bending, standing, stretching/reaching, hand/finger dexterity, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, or transporting up to 500 pounds via carts or mechanized equipment.
