Job summary:

As an Electrical Engineer I, you'll contribute to electrical device sustaining engineering activities, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Essential duties:

  • Contributes to electrical characterization, verification, and validation activities at both the component and system level, to ensure product performance, safety, and compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate electrical safety risks throughout the product lifecycle, applying creative problem-solving to address technical challenges while highlighting potential risks to avoid manufacturing delays and resource expenditure.
  • Participates in project management responsibilities, including report writing, planning, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Perform evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation of standard techniques in creating innovative electrical designs for medical devices.
  • Actively participates in in design reviews and offers innovative approaches, while researching and integrating electrical technologies to maintain technological leadership.
  • Track and improve key electrical engineering metrics to drive continuous improvement in design quality and efficiency.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education:

  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is required

 

 

Experience

 

  • Minimum 6 months in similar areas.
