JOB SUMMARY

Working under Latin America Marketing Management direction, will be responsible of providing strategic thinking, identification of new opportunities, market analysis and execution of marketing projects, tactics and sales tools at local and regional scale for current and future company products in Latin America.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with a medium degree of independence and under regional Marketing supervision, translates customer needs and problems into product introduction and marketing strategies-tactics. 
  • Working closely with marketing environment:Sales & Market development specialists, and global team.
  • Collects and analyzes competitor information, coordinates and refines marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Provides leadership during product trial and introduction in needed countries.
  • Supports regional product introduction, materials, brochures, and other tools.
  • Supports Sales Reps/Product specialist implementing marketing initiatives for new technologies
  • Provides high level of expertise on products by communicating guidelines and general information to internal and external audiences.
  • Monitors and analyzes indicators of business performance such as Sales vs. Forecast, actual vs. plan selling price, product mix, competitor information, and other relevant marketing data factors.
  • Works closely with the sales organization to successfully support business opportunities, tools, and downstream marketing initiatives in a timely and high-quality manner. 
  • Provides direction and develop communication strategy and the design and implementation of promotion and customer communication materials, including digital approach, to ensure consistency with customer’s needs and according to global and regional marketing strategies and directions.
  • Supports and executes marketing campaigns (digital and traditional) in an efficient and effective manner and ensures that tasks are completed on time.
  • Produces reports required for each campaign execution i.e. budget approval, pre-event reporting, post-event reporting and ensures campaigns are executed within budget and analyzes results.
  • Provides marketing support for local and regional special events and projects assigned by regional management.
  • Support local and regional team on Congresses, exhibitions, branding and merchandising
  • Support regional team coordinating specific training for countries in the region

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Business or similar (Administration, Marketing, Economics)

Experience:  

  • Requires 3 or more years of experience in marketing. 
  • Experience in Biotech, medical, laboratory products, health care industry or blood banking appreciated.
  • Experience in lead nurturing/marketing automation (Eloqua, Pardot, etc) and digital marketing is appreciated

Skills:

  • Fluent in English, Portuguese is appreciated
  • Relevant knowledge of sales/marketing activities planning and program delivery.
  • Ability to assess customer needs and market trends within the context of product and business capabilities and the ability to translate this assessment into workable strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work effectively and comfortably with physicians and other medical professionals, as well as with all functions and levels within the business organization.
  • Didactic skills: ability to educate salespeople as well as customers (clinicians, blood bankers).
  • Able to present scientific data both at an individual level as well as presenting to an audience.
  • Ability to interact with diverse cultures with an open-minded and respectful perspective
