Senior Marketing Manager, Therapeutics, EMEA
JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Marketing Manager will lead the strategy and execution of marketing initiatives for the Therapeutic apheresis portfolio. The incumbent will ensure alignment of strategies across various cross functional disciplines to drive business growth and strengthen the company’s position in the medical device industry. This role requires a seasoned leader with a strategic vision, exceptional leadership skills, and deep understanding of blood banking. The ideal candidate will be experienced in driving business growth, enhancing market positioning, and leading teams to deliver measurable results while ensuring collaboration across cross-functional teams. The person will be reporting to the Director of Marketing, EMEA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop, drive, and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives
- Ensure alignment across all marketing functions, including product marketing, digital marketing, communications, market development, and KOL engagement.
- Evaluate market research to anticipate trends and customer needs.
- Represent the marketing function in leadership meetings, offering valuable insights and recommendations that contribute to the company’s success
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Define roles, set performance expectations, and provide regular feedback to team members.
- Allocate resources effectively across your team to maximize impact.
Market Development:
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to uncover growth opportunities.
- Develop initiatives to increase adoption rates of the portfolio in underpenetrated markets.
- Collaborate with field teams to implement regional strategies and address market-specific challenges.
Go-To-Market Planning & Sales Training:
- Oversee the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for product launches and market expansion.
- Ensure alignment between marketing, sales, service, implementation, product development, commercial excellence, quality, legal, and regulatory teams to drive cohesive, integrated execution of commercialization activities.
- Develop and deliver robust training programs for sales teams and distributors, ensuring they are well-equipped with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed for successful product adoption and sales.
KOL Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to gather insights and validate marketing strategies.
- Facilitate collaborations with KOLs for clinical studies, product validation, and promotional activities.
- Leverage KOL feedback to refine product positioning and communication materials.
Performance Measurement & Reporting:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives.
- Present performance reports and insights to the executive team, highlighting ROI and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all marketing activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree or Ph.D in Lifesciences
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or diagnostic industry .
- 4+ years of successful people management experience.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies at a senior level.
- Nice to have;
