As Marketing Manager you will have full ownership of the marketing process for your area of responsibility (from data gathering to marketing effectiveness) and be in charge for developing and rolling out strategies in the EMEA market. You have a direct impact on sales including new product launches and protecting/extending the core business via the implementation of marketing strategies, programs and pricing strategies.  You work closely with the sales organization, provide direction and frequently develop strategies to successfully identify and secure growth opportunities, support tools, and new marketing programs.  

  • Ensure market development, executing on software product and campaign launches, implementing and localizing global strategies, developing and implementing regional sales & marketing plans, supporting product commercialization, implementing training strategies and tools, developing and supporting KOL management plans, providing direction to sales specialists and sales management, and coordinating the various functional teams needed to successfully support the regional sales effort
  • Lead assigned software (SW) and data management strategies via market assessments and market research, development and delivery of effective product mix, value analysis and value proposition, positioning and problem resolution (current and new products).
  • Collaborate across businesses with X functional team to develop and lead implementation plan of software solutions at customer sites
  • Provide feedback and direction to internal teams on continuous improvement and establishment of programs, processes, offerings, and business practices based on customer and market environments for the complete SW portfolio
  • Manages the strategic development, management & drives execution and oversight of all your software marketing initiatives in EMEA.
  • Responsible for new product/service offering, market share/penetration, segmentation, pricing strategies in alignment with Global imperatives and regional product strategies.
  • Manages the value proposition canvas aimed at ensuring quick and qualitative transfer for direct and indirect sales resources.
  • As per the Go To Market plans aims at full alignment with cross functional departments such as software sales, regulatory, medical affairs, market access, sales, operations.
  • Seeks constant synergy opportunities and cross-pollination in terms of the total TBCT offering.
  • Provides strategic direction (data driven, business case methodology) to EMEA leadership & upstream marketing in terms of newly defined growth opportunities impacting our current offering.
  • Establishes market strategies that disrupt historic buyer conventions or product/service perceptions.
  • Helps establishing metrics to marketing effectiveness and impact on revenue, market share, prices, customer satisfaction, lead generation.
  • Works closely with global product marketing to successfully identify business opportunities by specific geographic area and develop support tools and new programs in a timely and high-quality manner.
  • Maintains ongoing contacts involving significant responsibility with key geographic customers and various medical professionals (KOL’s), representatives of professional organizations with whom the business is affiliated, and professional/management levels within the business.
  • Provides appropriate feedback from geographies to support product design, functionality, translation priorities, sales force collaterals, and customer communication material to insure effectiveness.
  • Development of marketing plans for specific products, protocols, and/or product enhancements, ensuring proper positioning strategies. Lead pre-launch, launch, and post-launch activities.



A Master degree is preferred, or equivalent through experience. Continued education in marketing is a nice to have.


  • Generally, requires 5+ years of experience, in the area(s) of sales and/or marketing with five or more years in medical device marketing. Healthcare marketing (i.e. pharmaceutical or diagnostics). 
  • Ability to manage by influence
  • Experience with software marketing or commercialization: commercialization plans, launch plans, implementation, software marketing strategies, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Previous experience with or working knowledge of EMR and BBIS connectivity, data analysis solutions
  • Proven ability to drive revenue through creative sales channels and marketing programs. 
  • Creative thinker with the ability to provide both strategic and tactical innovation.
  • Knowledge in Apheresis, cell collection, or Stem Cell Therapy workflows is a strong plus.

  • Ability to work effectively and comfortably with multiple levels (within a blood center or hospital) as well as all functions and levels within the business organization. Requires a thorough understanding of marketplace dynamics as they relate to product, market, price, and promotion.
