Market Development Manager, Whole blood Automation, EMEA

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

The Market Development Manager will be pivotal in driving Reveos System’s growth within existing and new markets. This role involves identifying high-value opportunities, analyzing market trends, and crafting strategies to expand the company's market presence. The successful candidate will leverage their deep expertise in the medical device or automation industry to align product offerings with market demands, build robust customer relationships, and execute initiatives that enhance the company's leadership position in its field.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

 

Market Analysis & Strategy:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, growth opportunities, and customer needs.
  • Analyze competitive landscapes and recommend strategies to enhance market positioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement market entry and expansion plans.

Business Development:

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in target markets.
  • Establish partnerships with distributors, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop business cases and financial models to support market development initiatives.

Go-To-Market Planning:

  • Partner with marketing and product teams to craft and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and solutions, ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectives.
  • Create compelling presentations, proposals, and business cases for both internal and external stakeholders, driving alignment on market approach.
  • Monitor product adoption, customer satisfaction, and market performance, leveraging insights to optimize strategies and improve product offerings.

Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Leverage insights from KOLs to refine market strategies and improve product offerings.
  • Facilitate collaborations with KOLs for clinical studies, product validation, and market feedback.

Performance Measurement & Reporting:

  • Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of market development strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide actionable insights to senior management through regular reporting on market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to company policies across all market development activities.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of seven years sales experience in the specific region. 
  • Experience in the Blood Banking Industry, with the specific knowledge of WB processing is a must. 
  • Proven track record of successfully entering new markets and driving revenue growth.
  • Nice to have;
    • Multiple language skills

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with KOL engagement and understanding of healthcare regulations.
